A very clean engine bay. Two questions: With the hood on, isn't the turbo sucking really hot engine bay air? I see you are running your vacuum pump. I haven't seen many turbo set-ups running one. Do you think it is helping? I'm asking because I'm turning my N/A BBC into a turbo. My N/A set-up has a vacuum pump. Does it stay, or does it go?

Please tell me how this is working because all i see is air intake to carb to turbo then exhaust vent out of hot side of turbo??? I dont see where a exhaust manifold is attached to turbo anywhere? exhaust from manifold is what makes the turbo spin right? im so confused.

It comes in the turbo on the bottom of the hot side, from the headers that exit toward the front of the car to mate with the turbo.

+Ron Dye your right and if you look at the other side you can see he's running shorty headers facing forwards so the mounting flange on the header will go straight to the turbo. Pretty smart I'd say.

It's a blow through carb. It has been modified for use with boost. A regular carb wouldn't work at all

its intriguing. im putting a miata 1.6l engine in my ford festiva and going to twin charge it with a rear turbo and supercharger, but superchargers would need to be remote mount for this to work as a blow through setup. can you drive it like this on the highway, roadtrip style?
