The deck broom looks like a nice marble or military button display. Interesting finds this week.

Hey Matt! 👋 Great finds, again, this week. By far, my favorite find is the Naval button; Dad was in the US Navy, so anything Naval is near and dear to my heart! Have a great weekend. I believe we’ll be having a few more warm days in the middle of next week. Take care and see you next week. Your friends from up Nawth, Carolyn and Tom

Evening, you found some really wonderful relics Matt. I was thinking while you were digging. I wonder what is underneath the shoreline you always find surface things. Have you detected the shoreline and about 3 feet in the water? I was curious because you have found old relics on the shore. It would be interesting to know! Have a wonderful week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

Hi Susan, with every trip I scan out all sections, even in the water. We look for where the stones show up and that’s where we go.

Hi Matt, how ya goin’? Gosh you love to get out there and poke around, don’t you!? And it truly is worth it! It really was a great history lesson today! I’ll bet if you asked any kid what any of those things were, the only answer you’d get, would be, “Rubbish!” But WE know! It really bothers me that kids today have so little interest in historical things. They just want their phones in their faces, or some silly game noises banging away in their ears! They couldn’t do a crossword if they tried. Their one track minds are filled with useless information. I’m glad I came from a previous generation, filled with relevant, interesting, and useful info.🤔 c u later ❤️
@underthesurface44352 ай бұрын
Kinda have to agree Yvonne, I have to keep on my kids to get outside and off the phones!
@yvonnepagan99122 ай бұрын
@ it’s pretty much the same EVERWHERE nowadays. The ones who don’t are the exception now, not the rule. Ah well, every generations bugs the last generation, so why not this one too!?! 😕
