I have tried fishing on multiple types of servers and fishing just isn’t as good as running caves or drops. It’s easier yes i just don’t find as much of what I need with fishing. Caves you are almost always getting flak or boss worthy dino saddles. My personal strategy is take a bary to the cave where the immune artefact is and run the cave. Double red drop every time. It also usually has 4-6 items which are usually useful.

READ IF PLAYING OFFICIAL SERVERS! Do not waste your time fishing its actually not even worth it ive fished on both island and center with 400%+ effectiveness rods if your looking for things like high end saddles or high end weapons, farm caves instead 👍

The loot pool on fishing is limited you can not get ANYTHING believe me ive fished for 6 days straight on all maps all fish, you will get a mashup of 37 different items at different qualities sabertooth salmon give the best loot
