I remember hillwalking in the Ochil Hills, Scotland , back in the early nineties when the RAF would do their low level training and I will never forget the thrill of seeing an aircraft coming towards you in silence only to hear the boom followed by the noise of the engines as they disappeared into the distance. I'm not an aircraft enthusiast but that was one of the most impressive things I have ever seen! Wonderfully filmed, great job.

I used to work for a tree felling contractor in the Thirlmere Valley. You can see some of the woods we used to work in on the right of this shot. Several times a day aircraft would buzz past and quite often we would be working above the altitude they were flying. We used to use radios to communicate with the guys on the machines down at the bottom of the valley and it wasn't uncommon to have to wait a couple of minutes for a stream of F15s or Typhoons to scream past, just so you could hear each other on the radio again! Best job I ever had

It's some years ago now when I was out walking across the top of Win hill in the Peak District. I looked down into the valley and could hardly believe what I was seeing. It was a 4 engined aircraft that was actually flying at a much lower the level that I was at. It was of course the Lancaster bomber which was having a practice run for the Derwent Dam flyover the following week. It seemed to be flying very slowly and surprisingly quietly unlike todays jet's. Unforgettable though.

My partner and I were in the lake District on 18th January and saw these 4 aircraft from our viewpoint on Castle Head overlooking Derwentwater. They made 3 passes and were spectacular. They were followed by a Hercules which made only one pass a few minutes later at pretty low altitude. Possibly on the same day as the weather was the same. Awesome photography, very clear.
