Nice. I drove one of those back to back with a GT350. Not an apples to apples comparison considering the GT350 was $15k more at the time. But if you like a V8 M3 you gotta try a GT350. I ended up getting the Mustang.

Hi Dan, great blog! Have a F430 spider. At a cars & coffee, a mechanic told me about a upgraded shift mechanism to make it shift like 458. He called it a "Challenge" upgrade. Have you heard of this, do you recommend it, and/or do you have it available in your store?

You can get a different TCU that can help speed up the transmission some.

Which Header blanket brand did you use? it looks more like a wrap which is tight around the tubes but then is a blanket around the collector area

I can’t recall If they offer valavetronic for their F430 exhaust. Some of the best F1 sounds in the game, based on my experience with my 360 👍🏻

Note; By installing any sports exhaust on a F430, the paint on your gate wire (=black) cavalino base will melt due to heat of the X-pipe & muffler who are not insulated. By wrapping the manifolds (only) you still (over)heat your engine bay. I have really never seen a F430 with stock exhaust & heathers having this paint (damage)...

Questions for Dan and other F430 owners: I am going to replace my headers shortly: the IPE full systems sounds insane But for now just looking to go one step at a time. Headers first and also replacing OEM Exhaust mounts with the Capristo Mounts. Question: which brand headers are best for quality, sound, performance, customers service, fitting etc (don’t care too much about price as you pay for what you get) 1. IPE (which I am leaning towards) 2. FabSpeed (some great info on them) 3. Kline (not the Inconel ones) 4. Capristo 5. Tubi Thanks guys
