@Mark01gt Nah I was talking if you put a 2jz in a civic. 2k mustang would be really impratical. Look up the Nelson Racing Engines code red mustang. That thing is making 1200? and it can't keep traction at 80mph lol! I never have cared for foreign cars (riceburners). I love the ultima cars cause they use a TT427 NRE v8. May not look the best but I can't get over the sound of a v8. It will never get old. If it does I'll buy a bigger one haha.

In theory IF a civic could make 1000hp it would beat a mustang because of the weight difference. And if the motor is making 1000hp its going to have the torque to match it in most cases. I agree that a civic can't make 1000hp but if it had a 2jz with 1000hp and drag slicks it would win.

Its all about time. i searched through youtube for fast 1/4 mile times on civics and the fastest i could find are running no more then 7 seconds. mustangs can run that easily with a some bolt ons and weight reductions. fully blown stangs are uncomparable

@MuddyMarc90 Lol I still own my Ford Mustang 2001 v6 from three years ago. I got a Challenger now, but I have never had a problem with my Ford. Tends to get flat tires often, (which blows cause there not cheap to replace) but other then that the transmission is still up to par when I visit it, and it still sounds mean as hell when I rev it up. So people that think Ford's break down easy are probably the people they treated theirs like shit and it stopped running on them. :D

An internal combustion engine is any engine that burns a fuel, with the help of an oxidizer, inside of a combustion chamber. That can account for any internal combustion engine that runs on nearly any type of fuel. Gasoline, diesel, propane or any other sort of natural gas, ethanol, even veggie oil. Military multifuel engines are the perfect example. They run on damn near anything.

I have a Mustang that has NEVER broken down in 13 years. You know what justifies the Stang? That it beats an M3 in a straight line and on a track is behind at only a tenth of a second. I would say that's pretty good considering the M3 costs twice as much.

@DudewithdaShades either they have a brake bias valve and they put all the braking power up front, or they have a "line lock" with a line lock all you do is press down the brake pedal and then flip a switch that powers a solenoid and it holds that pressure to the front tires even with your foot off the brake pedal. I have one on my 09 GT and it makes burn outs at the track very easy to do.

Pretty good blower that people swap onto other Mod's or Windsors, most Termi owners are boost crazy and just want something with a bit more potential. And I've seen plenty of LSx motors with KB's. Mostly in the new Camaro's but I've seen a couple Vettes on youtube with a KB. Just not very common on 4th gen F Body's because they wont fit without cutting the cowl.

@7150285 Drag cars use things called line locks. They lock the front brakes but not the rears allowing you to spin the rear tires without burning up the brakes. But normal cars have more power to the front brakes than to the rear, so to do a burnout (in a manual) rev up the engine, pop the clutch and ease on the brake just till you stop moving. Don't hammer the brakes, just ease onto it until you stop moving, and control your throttle (stay away from your rev limter)

@pinkstewie It looks like that is whats happening but infact it is actually the wheels spinning chucking the smoke not only out the back but down on to the floor in front of the wheel meaning the only way the smoke can go is inwards under the car and outwards out the sides.. As seen in many burnouts with rear exhaust oulets.
