if it is just one hammer bro that is screwing you, of course movements of 1 all around would be faster, but would just wiping him out at the first possible moment potentially be faster under situations if you are anticipating 4 movements like crazy, and IF there is a world that might fall under that situation, would killing save time more consistently over letting the ham bro go

Nice job on that world record Mitch, there are definitely a few areas where you can save time (World 4-6), but as Mitch has said himself (paraphrase) "It would be extremely difficult to have hammer bro movements of one in one run. Especially in world 6." I can understand him even being happy with hammer bro movements of 4 on world 6 just because if you had one world where you'd expect it, that's better than expecting it over multiple worlds. As extremely unlikely as a theoretical run seems, it WILL happen eventually.....eventually someone will get lucky enough to have good hammer bro movements in all levels AND have no hands in world 8.
