Regarding Trump actually believing that the election was stolen, therefore his actions were justified... it does not work like that. Whether he actually believed the election was stolen or not has no bearing on his guilt. Example: If you truly believe that your bank stole money from you, it doesn't make it legal to march into the bank with a gun and demand your money back.
