Insane Salmon & Trout Fishing in Newfoundland , Early Spring - Cast After Cast Action !

One of my best days fishing our winter season here in Newfoundland. I ventured along the Humber canal in search of big landlocked salmon, and big Brook trout. I caught some of the best fish of this season in this video, it was insane cast after cast, big Fish after big Fish!

Nice fishin bud! Great vid! Caught some nice brookies just as the ice moves out of my fav river here in central many times on a fly and/or bait early April! On the move if the water not too rushy! Soon be closed again for awhile and we are getting huge runoff here now, not that good!

I'm from New Hampshire but planning a trip to NF maybe next year.I would like to trout fish but it seems like it could be limited for a non resident with the whole scheduled water thing. Looking forward to your next video!

Our winter season runs Feb 1st - April 15th , then it reopens for the spring / summer on May 15th - the first Saturday in September ( I may be wrong on closing date lol ). As far as my knowledge goes, there are plenty of non-scheduled waters you can trout fish with a nonresident license !
