I'm glad you released it. Up here in Michigan we obviously dont catch them often as the lakes tend to be deeper than 200ft haha. Also we are trying to protect them when they come to spawn in the river beds, as they arent very common anymore

Going in the water to catch the fish brought back a memory of when me and my dad went fishing for stripers once. It was towards the end of the day and we weren't catching ANYTHING, I caught one little tiny fish and that was it. So my dad was like "last cast and then we gotta go". He got sooo excited the first thing he said (pretty much says it to every fish) "Omg Dean it's a big one ots a big one" 😂 wasn't as big as we expected but near the shore the damn fish got stuck in between two rocks! And he wasn't letting his only fish go that easily, he got into his underwear, jumped into the water and wrestled the fish similar to the way you were trying to grab it 😂 my god was it the funniest thing I've ever seen. Stepped in a hole and tripped a bit with the fish in his arm. I'll never forget the look on his face when he was coming out the water with the fish :)
