The phase 1 engines are the best for tuning - especially the 1.9 turbo which makes about 200 bhp stock Also the BTCC S40 was a phase 1, they are very good looking cars

@@sigha2b2t Yeah I agree. I think 300hp is fairly achievable in the 1.9t. What would be incredibly cool would be a 4 cyl T6 swap with the paddle shifters but I can only dream. What is more of a reality is rods, microsquirt and a TD05 16G.

Everything from the key in the ignition to that unique sound of Volvo interior panels, took me back to all the Swedish machines my dad and I owned when I was in high school. I had a 240 coupe that would do hellacious burnouts…………..as long as the slick concrete at the car wash was wet when I popped the clutch. 😂
