The engine mounts will need vibration isolator bushings. Also the shaft will vibrate do to lack of balancing. I can't wait to see it in the water. Ir might sit liw in the water and might ve difficult to get up on plane. Life jacket & fire extinguisher for sure.

Yep it will sit low, but i dont think it will have trouble getting on plane, i guess we will see😁

@@homemade_madness Yes --- It will have NO problem what so ever getting on plane. I wouldn't doubt that the boat weighs less than the motor. It will be a rocket. Now All you need to do is add some foils and make it really fast.

I would have adapted the original frame, since you're cutting it apart anyway. But I also see how fitting your engine bay was necessary. Probably going to have too much vibration. I believe the frame has dampers built in. By starting with blocks in fiberglass at motorcycle frame mounting points, you could build the cover around that. Also: bidlge pumps mandatory. You're going to need 2. I'd not put a bidlge motor inside the engine bay, but I'd put a sump from each bildge inside the engine bay for redundancy, and ventilation for engine beyond the radiators outside the engine box and air intake. To evacuate moisture. But it's easy to sit on the internet picking plans apart while I'm eating donuts and drinking coffee.

The spline on that drive can be found on any Chevy to borg Warner flywheel to transmission adapter for a marine velvet drive transmission. eBay has tons of them. It’s the part that makes connection from the engines flywheel to the velvet drive transmissions input shaft.

Lekker gewerkt weer!

Also. The way to do this with a street bike is to build a tiny Areneson type surface drive. It would be ten times lighter and faster.

So you DO speak English decently well, a lot like all of my other Dutch friends from IRL, same accent, too :-) Any vibration from the unbalanced shaft spinning flat out? You could have got lucky but I'd imagine some subtle rumble would be coming from it, or worse :-D

That CV shaft joint won't last very long on that angle... Ideally you want a cog and make the drive shaft straight.. Less resistance.
