@@springbok4015 It more than likely wasn't removed, and yes people can be shot without realizing it. There was once a man who was shot during the civil war and the bullet lodged itself in his lung. He coughed it up dozens of years later. There was also a man who was shot in the back of the head from a few yards away, only to turn around and see a man running away. He survived quite a while. There's also a man who had a rebar violently shoot up through his skull.

I once accompanied a coworker to a business trip from Brazil to Japan. He's a welder and it was his first time flying. Welding equipment is much cheaper and higher quality in Japan, so we bought some for our company and I had part of them on my dispatch luggage, but he argued with me that he wanted to carry the welding torch on his carry-on and that I was too paranoid. He only relented when I reminded him of how much fuss it was to pass security because of the metal on his belt!

I went to Hawaii over spring break and I live in Detroit. I am also a very nervous flyer and since we were going back 6 hours and had a 6 hour layover in LA. When we were on our way via the TSA in LA, I heard somebody scream “bomb!” And then another person scream “bomb” it was really hot there and super crowded and the TSA was telling everyone to get behind a line. And then there’s my dad, clueless just sitting in the middle of security where the alleged bomb was. I was terrified out of my mind and I gestured for my dad to get behind the line and he started to get angry and it was so busy I couldn’t hear him. And he’s yelling at me with no sound in this crowded huge security line and this just makes me even more terrified. No bomb ever went off and we got through security with my dad still in tact and he didn’t know what the heck was going on the whole time. I told him about it later and he just shrugged it off like there want a friggin bomb threat. And he still seemed angry at me for no reason.

I once brought a small multi-card tool similar to the first utility card tool shown except it was a lot more dull and wasn't anywhere near knife/razor like. I had brought it on multiple trips in the US and out of the US. Both US and London (two main places I travelled), allowed it through. But when I went to Japan, they instantly confiscated it. I guess its because there is a large number of blades and weapons that are being smuggled out of Japan or something if out of mutliple airports and TSA checks, only Japan would disallow it. So either the other TSA agents are blind or they saw it and just allowed it...
