Aluminum foil works real good around the cables wires and hoses instead of all the tape

Hey!! That’s gonna look almost brand new in there!! A layman would never know!! As usual, you do good work!! It’s such a feel good thing when you are making things as nice as possible!! I can’t wait to see & hear the finished project!! The compartment on the front you removed looks REALLY good!! 😊 information is too late now, but I get into spots like the front of the bus compartment and do the best I can, as you say. Before I paint though, I spray rust converter into any & all cracks & crevices that could have some rust. Once converted it doesn’t rust again and then I paint, again going for every nook and cranny. If that isn’t done, I have seen rust work its way through the paint in a year or two. That’s with vehicles I drive maybe 1000-2000 kms a year. Since I have started getting rust converter where I absolutely can’t get to, I haven’t had rust reappear. F you haven’t already done this, ya can on the next project that needs it. I do this almost always on the truck frames I refinish. All suspension parts I keep etc. I use a satin black to be different. I’m willing to bet, what you have done here will far, far outlast the original set up.

Not sure when this vid was actually filmed but 2 things....If you can I'd yank that starter off and have it rebuilt. Better to yank it off now than down the road after she's all back in place. If possible depending on the location, when replacing the FUEL filter put some diesel cleaner/additive in the new filter before screwing it back on. Maybe about 1/3 full. And hope you run an additive in the main fuel supply. Hot Shots makes some good diesel products.

Everything is looking very nice bud! I'm looking forward to you getting back to finishing the office/man cave in the shop? I've been pretty busy getting my foam and heating tubes installed in the shop, the weather still is a little chilly here but just warm enough to get the tubes spread out and stapled down with several propane heaters going! Take care and don't work too hard!

Great idea here after its all fabricated clean and prime the metal, then use bedliner spray on it..permently sealing and weather proofing.

Rustoleum is your best paint to use. It'll soak into that Rusty metal been using that since the 60s. I'm really surprised that there's so much rust under there and on the generator that must have been on Northern RV. Love the GoPro battery pack. I've been using that one on mine for years while flying my paramotor.

Hey Chief, the idea of painting the hidden, front, underside of the bus is not a bad idea. The kit will cost some bucks but you could also paint the entire underside of the bus, wheel wells, backside of the entrance steps, all kinds of places where it might be rusting underneath the coach.
