My villagers aren’t breeding how do I know if my villager is a nitwit? They were breeding but I moved it it’s not near a village or nothing like that

Nitwits are green villagers. They don’t take jobs and they don’t breed. If you moved it then you probably rebuilt it slightly differently accidentally. Break your beds and redo the process. It should be working!

Nitwits don’t take jobs so they’re 100% pointless and a waste of space in your farms.

You don’t want Nitwits period. They won’t do anything for you. If you take a normal villager and a Nitwit, then there is a 50% chance you get another Nitwit. Why take the chance? They’re useless haha.

@@MinerMends haha ya lol but i used all the villagers for my trading hall and i only had a nitwit and a villager, i mean it worked perfectly cuz i had 4 baby villagers in like 2 mins and i grabbed 2 villagers from my iron farm and they grew up to not be a nitwit, so ya i might replace the nitwit in the future but for now ama keep it the same

@@MinerMends yo man i swapped the nitwit with a normal villager and it works great, but i also have a problem, some baby villager dont go into the water they stay with thier breeders ik thier is a piston but is thier a way to make the baby villagers 100 percent go into the hole?

It keeps any cross linking from happening. If two villages collide it might not work properly..

@@MinerMends AWESOME! that should negate the 150 block rule I believe, I have a portal linked to my iron farm/trading hall entrance; planned on making the breeder in the nether on the other side so I could just send them in through linked portals as needed. Thank you!

Fyi for those of you who trophy hunt: if you use the cheats to set mob griefing, you won't get the trophies. Good video though.

Did you make sure mob grief was enabled? If it’s off they won’t breed at all. Also, make sure the beds properly linked. You could have also built it too closer to a nearby village. Farm works fine, you gotta just rule out those possibilities. Join our Discord if its still giving you issues, we can help.
