Just finished the trading hall iron farm portion, looking forward to adding this part as well! Also going to build some auto farms underneath with all the trade items, and implement a collection system with an auto sorter on the bottom level. One giant farm area.

I built this today and I'm having issues. The pillagers keep spawning on the leaves and right next to me. My iron farm below is working great and I followed the video almost exactly. The only difference is that I went 151 blocks up and oriented my farmer a different direction. The farmer is in the same structure as the video but slightly further away from the water platform.

any recommendations for if the golems stop spawning? they stopped after I added this part

I noticed that my golems started spawning all over the place I just cleared the path 20 blocks instead of the 7blocks. But it wasn’t until I broke a work station and then put it back that the golems started spawning again. Also I had pillagers spawning on the top part of the ladder so I added a block of leaves there and that seemed to work.

You did something wrong hahah. Maybe your simulation distance is too high. Try putting the platform up higher.

If I build this will my simulation distance of 10 affect it? I was able to make the hall work with it. Also if the game is put in hardmode, wouldn’t the vex’s knock you off?

I believe it changes things yes. You’ll have to experiment. You may have to go up higher.

Amazing farms. I usually use JC Playz farms, however i believe i will be using auite a few of your farms. I am a GIANT farm person. Just made a gold farm that almost kills my realm lol

Works as a dream. Thanx! If mobs fall too quickly for a kill, block one or two with a temporary block between your platform and mob spawning platform.

What? It only takes 20 seconds or so for the OMEN to go away? The raid starts after drinking the bottle. Should only take less than a minute in total in Easy mode.

Thats just because you built it wrong haha. Just make sure each corner has leaves, also the bed and the work station to. Keep trying you got it!

This is a “Hero Effect” farm, not a raid farm. You could theoretically do a minecart hopper system below the platform. Watch my “Sniffer Farm Tutorial” and you just basically copy the same minecart system. Super easy!

It last 45mins or so once you use it. It doesn’t stack.

Yeah its not a raid farm. Raid farms typically use Trident Killers and they give you XP and organize loot for you. This just ends the raid as fast as possible forcing the “Hero” effect. Raid farms won’t give you that effect.

Once again this is NOT a RAID FARM. This is a Hero farm. Look at the resources required to build this, literally nothing. Its designed to be minimal, entry level, quick, efficient. Its quicker to. So not sure why we are all still on this topic..

Make sure mob spawning is enabled and that you are in “Easy” and not “Peaceful”. Also make sure your villager is 150 blocks above ground.

You spawn proofed it wrong. Place a leaf directly on the compost and around it. Make sure you spawn proofed the corners to.

That you get faster raids. Its a Hero of the Village farm, its not a raid farm. So no catch. Its designed for Easy mode.
