One thing to note is that literally everything in this video is being actively worked on right now. What's fascinating is to consider the things that we haven't even thought about - the types of inventions that are likely to arise out of some newfound problem that has yet to show up.

The thing that I’d really badly wish is to see more nature in architecture. And looking at Singapore it seems like we’re kinda going that way. Building and architecture is -finally- evoluting and I believe many improvements will be done. Solar panels in the windows, better isolation, lots and lots of green incorporated in the buildings and so.

with chat-GPT and the incredibly rapid advancements in AI that have happened so far in 2022 and 2023, I think we can expect AI to be a huge part of life pretty damn soon! It's already getting insanely smart, which is kind of surreal. I'm excited to see how the world changes in my lifespan, and it's crazy to think I'll be 39 by 2050. I hope I make it to 2100 lol

I'm more curious to see where we are by 2050 when it comes to medical science. Will AIDS and cancer be cured by then and how will organ transplants be done. I mean organ transplants being used with by your own dna to create new organs and stop the need for transplants to others and stop the need for rejection drugs all together. Example: Let's say you need a new kidney, your dna would be used along with stem cells could create a brand new organ to be used or something like that. I think by 2050 this could be a common thing. I think the biggest flaw in people's outlook of the future is it often still incorporates business and finance. These institutions only exist because of something called scarcity. The thing is most emerging technologies aim to eliminate just that, scarcity. Meaning that we're heading toward a future where money becomes worthless, and so all practices associated with it give way to automated systems.

I think AR glasses/contacts will be the replacement for phones, not wrist-based interfaces. Eye-based AR offers a lot more privacy and can do more than just show information like your phone, like show names of people you're talking, interesting facts about buildings you see and navigation information while you take a walk. And we'd definitely start approaching technologies where you can think things to this interface and it will do whatever you want without saying a word.

We can say that among the changes that we will have in the future with technology would be fully electric cars, also, there are even plans for self driving cars that make the future transporting very exciting. As we get closer to 2050, we will develop more technology and we will have the possibility of knowing and exploring another planet like Mars and colonizing it thanks to the help of programs like Space X and NASA. I think it will affect a lot since many people in their jobs will be replaced by machines, robots or simply artificial intelligence will do the job for them.

One of the ways this can happen is if technology gets so advanced that souls will enter robot bodies rather than human bodies. Otherwise, how can it? It would only be a glorified computer that can only function as programed and it can only make choices on options, or data installed or programed.

I’d much rather have AR (augmented reality) contact lenses) than a wrist watch because a wrist watch... it seems to not be progressing much. The step towards AR contacts or AR glasses which are well in the making with a few versions already being released. I think this is much more accurate than a watch. Just imagine being able to have screens anywhere you want or have directions to where you’re going in digital arrows you can see in real places around you. The possibilities are endless with augmented reality.

I also agree with the wristband one at the end, but just think of all the problems humans will have remembering things if technologies like this actually exist. The technologies would do everything for the humans and therefore the capacity to remember for humans will decrease. We can already see it happening with people who use smartphones, often they will have 30 people’s numbers in their phone app but won’t remember more than 5 - 6 numbers.

I was excited about the idea of self driving cars as a general concept initially until I learned more about urban planning, city layouts, and how some European cities handle cars. Now I realize self driving cars isn't an advancement at all, its just a bandaid to fix a horribly broken system that was a bad idea from the start, when it should all be replaced by proper mass transit.

What if I don't want to be on a train or whatever with other people? I want my own solitary 'room' away from others so I can relax for a moment. That's why we like cars. Magnetic trains seems awesome, but for day to day commute I want something like my car. Also, I really enjoy driving

@@eastwood4006 Then you're a selfish person with unrealistic expectations of the future. The population of the world is increasing every year. The size of cities are going up. Urban density is increasing. Cities all over the world are having to periodically revise the laws and regulations they have for housing density because they need more housing. Hell, even right now there is a housing shortage in many countries. Cars suffer from the same shit. Extreme overpopulation of cars. Some cities have 16 lanes and still get completely plugged up full of cars because there are just too many people. Fact is, the idea of having your own big house and large yard and your own private car are old notions that are fading and will continue to fade as time goes by because they are increasingly unrealistic. If you don't like being around other people, you're going to be out of luck before long.

I believe this will be the century we will do a lot of work to build the foundations that one day humanity will actually be a multi-planetary species. I think we will start out with colonizing the Moon and Mars. From these we will get a lot of new knowledge, that will eventually let's us settle on more places inside our solar system, like for example Titan. In my opinion Titan will be a pretty neat place to settle on as there are already a lot of hydrocarbons present, that we can use as fuel for future missions, problem with settling on Titan will be that we need a source of water, so we can make oxygen and survive. We'll most likely come up with a solution for this in the end.

There will be enough changes for the future because we will have electric cars, cars without driver and most likely there will be autonomic ubers there will also be drones to replace the homes or deliveries that we have to make quickly, There will also be electric trains like the Hyperloop that will be much faster and also the AI that I do not think are good and ultimately very important for me are the prostheses for the future as they will serve too much for the people affected by the war. Technology will be increasingly advanced in the more developed countries as they are the researchers of all these types of tolos. Technology will affect us as it will replace us at some point and will also be one of the reasons for unemployment as in the case of households.

Like be able to automatically adjust the showerhead and temperature to suit us for winter and summer, bit still being able to adjust the temperature manually temporarily or permanently. With baths there should be an alarm to it to be sent to your phone or any device when it is full to the extent you want it to be via profiles, once again. Also have an option for guest which you'll have to manually adjust temperatures, etc.
