And you also came up with something that I don't think I have ever heard before: Usually the chord/lead instrument is distorted and the bass is (relatively) clean. But in this video the bass is distorted while the chords are simply "shimmered". I like that idea. You may be a trend-setter, Emily!

I love the distortion / shimmer reverb. Reminds me of Clint Mansell's 'Leaving Earth' from the Mass Effect 3 Soundtrack. Pretty much the sound of the reapers' 'ray of destruction'. Gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it and this is just like that. Deep below the lonely mountain of Asregarieth, it lays it wait, an ancient darkness, enigma of legend and terror. Only a weapon forged in the hallowed citadel of Modelathin, domain of Lorien, by the fey artificers may vanquish it. Take what is your destiny in hand, Ascender, and become legend! Your evanescent inward eye gazes beyond reality, a catharsis of aural grace emanates from within as crushing insight permeates your essence. Downer is *not* a noise gate! Dear Emily, I built a Delay/Reverb Pedal for my friends some time ago when we supported one of us who lost his son to blood cancer. Since then I lost quite a lot of my hearing unfortunately due to tinnitus and can't perform music myself anymore. Would like to see that pedal in good hands. Delay and reverb in one pedal including a tap delay function and a switch to select the order (delay -> reverb, reverb -> delay). It's called "Die ewige Wiederkunft" and is rotting in a box. Hit me up if interested.

wasn't really feeling those bitcrush harmonics at first. definitely some sweet spots in there as the last part demonstrates, but that part with both together was incredible

Particularly good video, particularly good pedals. Every detail of both things. So I guess that means this is the high water mark, lady. It can only go down from here. Congratulations.
