I have been watching numerous programs about murder all over the USA and England, and numerous other countries and am totally impressed that I am still alive.... I probably should have died years and years ago! I only know that when I thought something was off, I ran! I thank my lucky stars that I am still alive. Because I have always had something watching over me! I am totally old and I am totally impressed with all of my experiences in life, that I am still here! Thank you guardians for my life! I have totally enjoyed this life and I am grateful that I have lived it till now!

Oh, and the thing I hate most about new crime shows? After every commercial break they do tedious recaps of everything THEY JUST SHOWED. I swear, those recaps must take up a quarter of the episode not counting commercials. Once you've taken out the commercials and the needless infuriating recaps theres hardly any *show* left! This show and forensic files, and a select few others, are great because they're all business. The way true crime TV should be.

3 students from my 8th-grade class ended up being murderers. The killer in this episode was one of them. The city is considered to be one of the safest in the nation which makes it even more unusual.

I wish they still made crime shows this way. It would be so great if they still made shows like forensic files and this show. I love to see them cover recent cases. Now all we get is all that sh*tty stuff on ID...and a few other awful cable channels. They're half commercials usually. They have horrible reenactments. Bring back real true crime shows and not that dramaticized over done crap.

Next time I see that someone has tried to break into my window ..i will either borrow a friend's viscous watch dog to sleep in my room or sleep at a friend's house until I'm able to install a camera or get an alarm system.....viscous dogs are pretty scary....so would hide a camera outside and sleep at a friend's most likely

Dogs are the greatest and cheapest deterrent for criminals. Even dogs that are small and sweet are a huge deterrent because they are still very likely to alert if someone is breaking in. It takes away the element of surprise which is the most important thing.

I'm surprised the most logical suspect of Terry's murder wasn't questioned a bit more enthousiastically: even without dna etc. the police at that time could have unearthed that the parents of Terry found his behaviour quite odd, out of place. The fact that the murderer put a plastic bag on Terry's face too was a red flag: burglars wouldn't bother, this is typically done by someone close, who doesn't want the dead person "to watch" him or her. Apparantly, no polygraph was performed in the 1980's ? Sure, the Vidocq group presented a much stronger case, a dna link between the weapon and the suspect, but I'm more surprised about the lack of thinking out of the box by the police in the 1980's, focussing so much on burglars. By the way, what happened with the hair that was found in Terry's hand ? Couldn't that have been compared in the 1980's ? What is strange though is how the Vidocq group came to think the murderer probably worked in a kitchen etc. On what was that conclusion based, on the weapon ?

@kevin fitzpatrick you are stealing from google AND you tubers. Google needs money to run the servers that contain and send you all your videos. The ammount of data KZbin needs in INSANE. This costs a lot of money. Ads allow to make up for it, without thoses ads, google would spend so much money running KZbin they would go bankrupt if they did not shut it down. You tubers get some money from ads aswell, as a little extra given to them to compensate the view ever being shown an ad. However, that money is only awarded to them if the ad was shown. If you use Adblock, that money will not be given to them as the ad will not play. KZbin premium allows people to pay KZbin directly, rather than ads shown to us paid by other companies indirectly getting the money KZbin needs. A user with KZbin premium watching a you tubers video also gives some money to the youtuber, just like watching an ad does. The difference is you pay once a month instead of watch ads everyday to fund it.

The sound recording for all your videos is low pls check. Since dna or cctv is not used in these videos they are very old cases. Now a days the first thing they do is dna. It is stupid to release a person when the testings take just a few days. They could have extended the detention period
