This story reminds me of proverbs 7 . ”She seduces him with her persistent pleading; she lures with her flattering talk. He follows her impulsively like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer bounding toward a trap until an arrow pierces its liver, like a bird darting into a snare  - he doesn’t know it will cost him his life. Now, sons, listen to me, and pay attention to the words from my mouth. Don’t let your heart turn aside to her ways; don’t stray onto her paths. For she has brought many down to death; her victims are countless. Her house is the road to Sheol, descending to the chambers of death.“ ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭27‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Am I the only one who often has to come to the comments section to find out crucial information about a true crime show? Apparently, a commenter says she killed her father. This is vital information they chose to skip out. That might also be a place to start the answer of "why" she began her murderous career. We were told next to nothing about her life, nothing about her father, and only a throwaway sentence about her killing her first husband. Then the confusion about everyones age. It is fine to show better-looking actors, but not to muddle up the ages so badly people lose concentration. It would also be interesting to close the piece with a statement about whether she actually did receive the death penalty. Someone said she is the oldest woman on death row (age 90) but not what her fate has been. Producers really need to work their entertainment around the facts.

Probably the same as other serial poisoners- either a pathological need for the attention they get when a loved one is sick, or a merciless drive for whatever money they can gain by their death. The former have what is considered Munchausen by proxy, the later are psychopaths, probably narcissists, and more interested in money than in loved ones. Most psychopaths are not murderous and will never kill anyone. But those who decide it's the way to get what they want are truly dangerous.

Not one medical practitioner had the sense to isolate him after any of his episodes. Had he been treated at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh Scotland... He would have been admitted to the poisons unit before one could say..."Arsenic And Old Lace." Of course, free medical care is what makes a...Big difference. When the worry is more on costs and profits... One's life is on a razors edge. Ward 3... (Poisons Unit) Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, Scotland. Save many, many individuals from an early death...Toxicology, obviously, in partnership. One, similar case to this one was a husband poisoned by his wife and lover putting paraquate in his home brew (Beer) Which he kept in his garden shed. The bottle they put the paraquate in was finally reached on a sunny summers day, and just more than a week later...He was dead. His wife, and her lover, thinking all was well, were arrested on the same day. The lover, was his best friend. PS. They visited him everyday with smiles and flowers. Knowing what they did!!! Trust...Well... At your own risk!!!!

I could have told you that from the beginning. It just seemed obvious to me that Blanche was the culprit from the beginning, for the following reasons, she wasn't included in the interview, she was the closest to the Reverend and frankly I didn't trust her so called "loving" nature. A person can pretend to be these things and yet go out and do evil at the same time.

I looked up the history of this case. The preacher was divorced. She was suing someone for sexual harassment and said she couldn't carry on a relationship with the opposite sex. Preacher knew about that and was meeting with her on the down low for lunch. She was still sleeping with the other boyfriend. Preacher wasn't so upstanding. Had he been he mught have avoided her.

I think this has to be one of the cruelest ways to kill someone. How can you just sit there and “watch” another person be in so much unbearable pain? I don’t understand. You’ve got to be one of the most messed up person’s in the world to enjoy watching another suffer. Even if I hated a person, I wouldn’t be able to watch them suffer so horrendously! Glad he recovered, but RIP boyfriend and first husband. Poor guys. Also, totally not relevant, but I thought the daughter was really pretty lol 😂.
