I'll a mug there stroking his OWN ego & believing his OWN hype. #NOPE I won't even stick around for him to inevitably get knocked off of his high-horse just like pride & a haughty spirit ALWAYS does. Since it always makes a fool & a clown out of a mug. So I always slip right through a mugs fingers if he doesn't learn/get wisdom BE4 it's too late. Because, as Abigail taught me before meeting king David, NEVER marry a fool. That's my worst nightmare. This is a really sweet couple!! Did anyone hear their body language?! The chemistry, connection and wholeness of the two I could feel through the air waves!!! This is the type of stuff that happens when two ppl meet and its a fit, a go, and a God thing. Before these two open up their mouths, the presence of God goes before them and yet remains with them and yields the sweetest aroma that could fill any room. If we could bottle this couple as a fragrance, i would definitely wear their scent!!! I love that both create safe spaces to communicate, especially issues. I agree too, their is something so dope about a kind hearted individual!! I walked away from a past relationship saying,"Lord kindness must be a spirit that he didnt possess (bless his heart). The world can display acts of being "nice" but it is NOT equal. Kindness is a heart thing and its spiritual. I look forward to meeting my "kind" of person! Thank you again LRW, you simply rock!

One of my favorite bible verses to share with young people considering marriage or in the beginning of marriage is 1 Cor 13:4 which describes the attributes and character of love and one of them is kindness. As I fight back tears that have been coming and going at random since May. Listening to this 2 things come to mind. 1) A healthy relationship is a mirrored reflection of that couple, past, present and future. That hits me square because I had to fight since elementary school and protect the ones who really loved me. 2) Love is a choice and decision that is daily made which means forgiveness is the same. Always grateful 🥲 for your podcasts. I have to re listen to the ones of this past 30 days or so.

I asked a couple at church that I had watched all my life. The husband would get up every Sunday and tell why he loved his wife. Every Sunday for years, decades. During their 60th anniversary, he spoke about how they married after a week of knowing her and had only spent a few days apart from each other in 60 years. I asked him how…how did they do it. And his answer was “Love is a choice. Everyday I wake up and make the choice to love every no matter what comes’. I had never heard that perspective before in my early 20 years. But it made so much sense. Every Sunday y’all. And you could see how he loved and cared for her and her him.

Watching their level of respect for one another and their secure communication towards one another was comforting to witness. I'm taking notes. Thank you Laterras! Another great episode! ❤️

It's not often you hear someone reference striving to be a better listener (so much emphasis on talking/speaking); simply AMEN!

So much goodness in this episode. But the way they look at each other is priceless, especially the way he looks at her. He loves her because he chose to....wow!Beautiful!

Mrs. Amanda (one worthy of love), this interview has been a blessing. I could see myself in this interview and it has been a blessing certainly. I think I will move more confidently.

Good morning Laterras, and DFW Family 👋 Thank you for the new episode, which appears to be LIT 🥰 I started two new jobs yesterday (Thank you GREATLY for your prayers Laterras! 🥰) And so I will have to wait until much later today to be able to listen to the episode. This sounds like another great episode full of wisdom and knowledge. I'm looking forward to watching it later. Just from the little preview I just listened to, it sounds like the husband understands what "Commitment to someone" means, and that says a lot about him. Have a wonderful day, everyone 👋

Sorry but this episode just encapsulates the whole gospel so beautifully!! It just speaks to me and addresses some of issues as I needed it. I was just praying about this and then this episode. This is the Holy Spirit led. Surely getting this book.
