Yes I am astonished about your weak soldering skills. Fist of all, you have to heat the wire and afterwards prividing the tin. As you did it in the first attempt, the flux is evaporated prior to heating the wire to the melting temperature of the tin. When soldering such thick wires it is recommended to deposit some extra flux on the wire. Then it will work perfectly with a common tip.

Heat rises doesn't it+ it helps to use flux and heat up the wires, and THEN apply the solder,duh!

That is not the way to tin wires but most important why don't you use flux it helps no end in soldering work...

Está bien, pero la punta se usa limpia, no como aparece al principio. En una punta bien limpia el estaño se pega. Para lograr una buena soldadura hay que calentar primero el cable, luego sí se apoya el estaño y corre solo entre los alambres de cobre del cable.

Im not impressed 🤦‍♂️ ... . if you pack the stem of the spark plug with metal shims . so it fills the tube of the soldering iron it might work better . . The way it loosly fit, compared to the standard tip, instantly told me your not going to get the heat transfer you need to solder things properly . . Heat transfer is needed to solder big wires properly . . And the cable needs to be heated up first before any solder will wick into it 🤦‍♂️

You can buy 17 tips for $6 Much less time than it took wasted. Destroying a spark plug which probably costs more than all 17 tips. But I guess that's cool if you're stuck out in the Mojave desert with a broke Jeep and you need to shout or something. From the Sun, maybe with your spectacles and a mirror and all you have left is a Jeep smock plug.Yeah so probably never
