I think you should put a silhouette of yourself looking out the window (similar to when you were on the porch looking out the screen) that was a peaceful, strong and engaging look. I love that you eat in the formal dining room all the time. Growing up in a house where there's no breakfast nook, we eat in the dining room all the time as well. When I move into a new space, I'll make sure to do the same! I just can't imagine using the dining room ONLY on special occasions and it would just sit there collecting dust majority of the year.
