As someone who's been with you since the little apartment in NY, I get it. Less can be more. It takes time to develop "magic" for KZbin. Ask Sade why she only does one album a decade! She needs to live in order to draw from to write. Take your time.

Right now, I have everything I've ever wanted, I've never been happier and more at peace, and my life keeps getting better. My changes are the result of my spiritual shift. I prioritize meditation, mindfulness, gratitude, and peace. And since I'm not much for coincidences, it's probably also due to my starting a vegan lifestyle two years ago. I encourage you to set your intentions on things getting better and better, speak often of your blessings, and stay in a peaceful loving place. Then watch your life change. What you and your husband are doing can be very successful for Baby J. My godson chose to do the same when his first marriage dissolved. He bought a home within walking distance from his ex wife and spent nearly every day with his daughter who was about 4 at the time. He's since remarried, moved twice but with the same focus of co-parenting with his daughter in mind. It has worked out very well! His daughter is now a teenager and spends a great deal of time with her dad as well as her mom. His new wife has a daughter the same age and the two girls have grown up as sisters. They all share common interests and it has been a joy to watch it all unfold. God bless you and your husband on your journey. Hi there, long-time sub and grandmother here. I have been following you for years and love all of your content, books, ect.... Sounds like you have managed to roll with the punches and still land on your feet. Thanks so much for being so transparent, I assure you that your story is a much-needed powerful testimony and it is also an encouragement to many, (and with all that is going on in the world right now people are grasping for something to believe in and hold on to). Most importantly, I appreciate you sharing the ups and the downs, mentioning that every day hasn't been all roses and that you had to grow to this point. Though I was a single mom, I have been fortunate to not have any deep depression, however, I know plenty of people who have and continue to suffer from imbalances. I know that your example will compel many and let them know they can make it. It is total wisdom that you know how to step back and stay in balance because you are correct, time waits for no one and you spoke truth, your sweet little Baby J, will grow up so quickly, so you definitely want to take time for yourself, the baby and for your elders. Thank you for allowing God to use you in such a powerful manner and most of all, thank you for continuing to bring us such marvelous content. I also live in Atlanta and am thrilled to know you are here now. Hopefully one day my granddaughter and I can catch you at a book signing or talk. You have had a tremendous influence on our diet. We are not fully vegan, but we are working on it and are much better off due to your influence over the years. I also really appreciate that you have impressed upon us, (particularly my grand, because you know the youth love their fast fashion), to be more environmentally conscious when it comes to things like our clothing choices and using sustainable items in our home. Please continue to use your gifts to inspire the world. Wishing you continued blessings!

I am not a single parent , but i know a bunch of people who are, & she is not a single parent more so a co-parent. HUGE difference! Plus, it is dismissing the very present father, Max. I just don’t agree with that term single mom when the father IS taking his child and taking his fair share of the parenting responsibilities. She said that she is up all night with her baby, but when baby J is at her dad’s house HE is doing the same. It feels disrespectful to say one is single handed l’y raising a child when the other parent is tag teaming it. I am a teacher and it’s a common situation to see one parent in the home and they get zero breaks. At least baby J’s father is there sharing the responsibilities that come with parenting.

Excited for the new cookbook! Maybe next season can include a behind the scenes video (or two! ...or ten! Lol) about that process/concept! 🤩 Also yay for enjoying life!

Dear Sweet Potato Soul, Thank You for all of your videos over the years, and I am sad you are leaving, however, I hope you will do a new channel in the future. Sweet Potato soul has helped me with my personal weightloss and depression just making me aware of Healthy food choices. May you be successful in all of your future endeavors and THANK YOU!
