We hope you enjoyed watching and hearing about TRIPTYCH by Room11. It’s truly remarkable how architecture and art merge together in such a harmonious way. The triptych concept of this project, with its interconnected yet distinct structures, showcases a creative freedom that breaks away from traditional norms. TRIPTYCH was recently featured in Issue No. 12 of our Print Publication, which is available to purchase through our website - thelocalproject.com.au/publication/issue-12/

A fluffy wall sounds so inviting for a bedroom space. I do love soft textures.

It's alive. You can feel its presence. An entity. As a guardian of the external landscape. A caretaker of the life internal.

This is an excellent demonstration of how landscape and architecture can be integrated successfully. The view is absolutely breathtaking.

I wouldnt consider partially burying a brutalist box as "Succefully intergrating" it with nature. This is terrible architecuture and its ruining the landscape.

What an experience... watching this video is like going through a journey deep into my soul, the music, the cinematography, the still shots, incredible! You guys should release videos like this WITHOUT any commentary, I can watch it all day or even put it in my TV for a zen / euphoric break time. And can you guys give the credit to the music as well? Would love to have this music for ambient.

I cannot imagine what a construction feat this must be, the structure might look simple but more often than not, the simpler they look the more complex the construction is. The logistics involved to build something like this in this location must have been a nightmare too.
@brettdepper1570 Жыл бұрын
Well done to all involved- you’re challenge now is to make such design more available to those that appreciate but can’t take up due to it being out of reach financially.

Why not? Joseph Eichler, Cliff May, Anshen, Allen, John Lauttner, FL Wright, Richard Neutra all did exactly that, were hugely successful and made an invaluable contribution to society.

It never ceases to amaze me how box qualifies as architecture. While the site is gorgeous and the view from a single room is categorically stunning I'm left wondering how much more could have been achieved using the same design philosophy. Just my opinion which means hot as I am not the client.

Bit brutalist for my taste but great picture windows. Detailing looked a bit questionable, building will age badly in that climate. Kitchen went further than skylight opening was a bad detail that’s obvious when spaces are simple

I am not a fan of this. It's a bit too brutalist for my taste. The views are incredible and are well-framed but the rest? I don't get these half-windows on the bottom. Yeah, if you are in bed, you can see something, but if you have a floor to ceiling window, you can also see a few lying on bed OR see it sitting down or standing up. It's just weird....
@XTSu-sl1bb Жыл бұрын
Wow, we almost written the same comment. You must have good taste, ha ha
@mrvk39 Жыл бұрын
@@XTSu-sl1bb LOL yup or bad taste - a lot of people think brutalism, particularly in residential architecture is a sign of particular sophistication :)
@XTSu-sl1bb Жыл бұрын
@@mrvk39 it’s true, but when you look at the top level resorts. Arguably the highest level of design it’s never brutalist and more vernacular. Places like aman from Kerry hill.

Architects with a huge budget always rely on large glass windows/walls to elevate their projects. Without the huge glass panes and the view, it becomes a very boring project.
