It's just the norm in the south...Florida...Alabama...Texas, etc. It's a standard way that gas stations are in these states and again, I live in a zero crime rate zip code. They're mostly like that and I don't even thing 2x about the deep meanings behind a bulletproof glass separation...it's been like this always since I started going to Texas in the early 80's...

The problem with this isn't the guys on the screen, it's the kids who have to grow up here. You can look at these guys as 'animals' but they were children just a few years ago being influenced by others acting the same way. If they grew up somewhere else, they'd be entirely different, respectful people. The environment is the problem and it's only going to continue. Thank God I didn't grow up in a place like that...
@CardinalDXMP
@CardinalDXMP 5 жыл бұрын
@@jacyborreaux919 Well, I mean, it's both. Part of your personality is very likely in your parents' genes, but environment very blatantly has an impact on development too. That's why the goal of parents is usually to raise their kids well. I don't think any parents have ever said "Well, there's no point in teaching my kids any manners, or right from wrong, because personality is all predestined by genetics anyway" lol
@CardinalDXMP
@CardinalDXMP 5 жыл бұрын
@Tanks Mk. 5 My comment was in a reply to a comment made by someone else who has since deleted it. The deleted comment basically said that they disagree with the OP, and that environment has *nothing* to do with how an individual forms their personality, and they claimed it was *all 100%* genetics. My response to him says that I disagree -- that genetics are not responsible for 100% of one's personality -- but rather only a part of it. Environment definitely *does* have an effect on one's personality *but so does inherited traits.* It is both. That's not pseudo-science. I grant you that my comment may have been partly confusing due to the other person deleting their comment.

@pla5730

@@CardinalDXMP Not the case... its not genetics... its the environment and bad parenting or lack of a decent role model... if one of these boys were adopted by a couple that raised them to get a good education.. work hard and respect others and others property it would be totally different. its because they have too much time on their hands to be a thug.. if they were in school having to study or worked they wouldn't have time to act like disrespectful folks
@CardinalDXMP
@CardinalDXMP 5 жыл бұрын
@@pla5730 Are my posts are just too long? I am saying that a person's personality is defined by ***BOTH*** genetics ***and also*** environment. All I'm saying is that is isn't 100% either-or, because that wouldn't make sense. Whether or not it's 50/50 or 60/40 or 80/20 etc, I have no idea, all I am saying is that both are definitely factors.

@WestAirAviation
@WestAirAviation 5 жыл бұрын
@@metoo3342 It decreases poverty in people who intend to use it to get on their feet and earn their keep. However, there are a lot of people who use welfare to live, and not always because they want to. Interestingly, welfare absolutely destroyed the black community. In the past, the man was the bread winner and the family unit depended on his income. However, in a poor black community, a woman can earn more than a man via welfare. This results in a lot of women finding the men obsolete. In a lot of these communities, men are no longer needed for the family unit. The next generation repeats the cycle. As a result you get large communities that depend on welfare, have no nuclear family structure, have crumbling infrastructure due to affordable housing and low land value, no external community support from neighboring townships, and disproportional police patrols that arrest people at ridiculously higher rates for victimless crimes than in non-affordable-housing townships. Not to mention the media portrays everyone in said communities as criminals and no-good-abusers.

What you see here is the decline of the economy and of its people and now all you see are a bunch of ghettos. These store owners have no choice but to stay because some of them, coming from other countries, have invested their lives to funding that small gas station or mini market and have no where esle to go. @@hassanmohamud3096 and yet with all the apparent racism... You still want to live in white countries? You can't get enough of them despite the persecution? The boats are coming in non stop with foreign men into England despite the horrible racism? Hmmm strange

It's Urban Lingo, it's spoken in every urban area except for possibly in the northeast U.S....It's just an Urban, generic lingo and can be understood universally and in some states nearly everyone (although some possibly only would do it at their house) speaks like that as a norm.

Those boys in the gas station are the reason I would never let my sons out of my sight. It saddens me because all those kids need is good mentors and people to push them to go to school, college and pursue a way out not the people who want to add to the problem and stay put miserable.
