Great video these views into the US are what I most enjoy about your channel. To most British people Reagan was one of the worst ever presidents. It quite a shock to discover Americans like him. Obama on the other hand is seen as the best ever. I guess it shows how differently we view the world. It might be our class system but I just dont think an actor turned politician would be taken seriously here and cirtainly would have no chance of rising to high office.

Hey Adam, great video! Titanic radio operators did indeed use SOS but towards the end of their perils.. the common distress call at the time was CQD, which CQ = calling all ships and D = distress. The operators had actually joked about using SOS which was actually novel at the time. They did indeed use it a few times, but not nearly as much as CQD

A family friend of ours when I was young when Regan was president. I was allowed to sit in the Limo, Airforce One, and the Helo. He was on Egale watch and now retired years later. Funny story on how they and I all meet. His wife was my babysitter back then before they met. He was a park ranger, she a secretary, they hooked up and I was a ring barrier at their wedding. I was able to test skills there at the HQ for the Secret Service, for counter fit notes ect... But for a 5 and going on 6 years old. Getting to sit where the president sat, and seeing how thick the windows were back then. I was able one time to see Regeans Airforce one, and have been on others. I will not state or say what is on board. But for a kid back in the day, it was amazing. And so too see that, and understand the Department of Treasury, was a great found respect. And that said I only have a found respect for the few that serve our commander and chief.

Very nice video. Even though I'm from the other end of the political spectrum from President Regan, I think he was a man of integrity and one must say, he accomplished some great things particularly with respect to the Soviet wall coming down. I didn't know this museum was so extensive but it is now definitely on my list of places to visit. Thanks for the video, Adam.

Thanks for showing us this museum. Always love learning about history. I remember when I was little, Ronald Reagan was the president that my grandmother sent a letter to when he was in office and in return Ronald and Nancy Reagan sent back a return letter that my grandmother always thought was actually from them. Everyone knew it was just a formal letter that everyone received but she was convinced that he had actually read her letter and had taken the time to send something personal back.

Hi Adam, i live in Southampton England and Im 34yrs old, I discovered 2-3months ago that my great great grandfather frederick wardner was a fireman/stoker on the titanic, my grandfather told me when I 8-9 years but never researched it plus my grandfather was a joker and when I asked other people no one knew anything, but looking into family tree I made this discovery, its blown me away, Id like to thank you as it's really interesting to see what artifacts the USA have in regards to the titanic, love your vlogs always will, take care, see you in your next vlog x

Yay! I was so happy to see another video posted! Adam I don't know if you are aware of this but since I know from previous vlogs that you are a Bank of America member there are museums all across the country that you can visit just by showing your that you a bank member through their "Museums on Us" program. Also, loved seeing the artifacts from the Titanic films. I saw the traveling Titanic exhibit at The Henry Ford Museum a few years ago & it was beyond words. I still have my passenger ticket they gave me before before I "boarded". When I reached the end of the exhibit to find out if my passenger survived, I remember reading the wall of survivors that settled in Detroit. This is a quote about their lives living after Titanic..."Mrs. Goldsmith and Frankie moved on to Detroit. Frankie later wrote his memory of the disaster. He in adult life lived near Tiger Stadium in Detroit. When he heard the crowd’s cheer it reminded him of the collective anguished cry of the doomed who went down with the great ship. Frankie was never able to attend games." That struck me so because Tiger Stadium at "The Corner", Michigan & Trumbell, had always been this idyllic place in the minds a Detroiters especially during that era that it sadden me that it brought this poor man so much more pain.

Awesome video. I'll never be able to visit the Reagan Library and exhibit, so I really appreciate this. Since you have a pass now to other Presidential libraries and museums, might I suggest the Eisenhower museum, library, boyhood home, and chapel in Abilene, Kansas. My home state. I haven't been there in Abilene in several years, but you'll love it. So much WW2 history, as well as his presidential history. His boyhood home is right across the street from the chapel where he, Mamie, and their oldest son are buried. It's all very beautiful and awe inspiring. Have fun, and keep up the great reporting on the sites.

I enjoyed this look into the Reagan library and it's a nice view into how the idea of the presidential library has evolved over time. I live about half an hour from Hyde Park NY and the FDR complex (Side note: Seeing that on the list Adam had made me giddy at the thought of him swinging by the area) and FDR's library/museum, while not as overly modernized, is a wonderful look into the home, before, during and after of a president. Hope you can find time to swing by Adam.

The set from the room where Jack did his drawing of Rose was called the Straus suite. His name was Isidor and was the Co-owner of Macy's department store. The set is an exact replica of the one on the Titanic. He and his wife died on the ship. She was offered a lifeboat but refused to go. I think about all the people that knew they only had and few minutes to live and how they must have felt and how scared the must have been. And what it was like when all the power went out and it was pitch black dark and they and others were just laying or sitting in their rooms waiting to die.

When I saw the date on here I thought it was an old video, then I remembered it IS 2018! this was great, nice to see your mom again, and I'm a big Titanic buff and airplane buff, so this was right up my alley. Love your shirt btw!!!

Adam, I wasn't a huge fan of the live vlogs and I sure am glad to see you back doing videos like this. Keep up the great work!!!! The Vacation and Forrest Gump videos were fantastic. Thanks for working hard for our entertainment!!!
