Thanks so much for the comment! That's great! Honda Civic will last forever! Best car for daily use (even in my own experience). I wish you to drive it for hundreds of thousands more miles... 🙃

I would have loved graduating high school, getting hired assembling automobiles and eventually making my way to robotics servicing. Taking nothing away from college but there are so many college grads looking for jobs in their respective fields and to have an assembly plant in town...I'd have jumped on that rather than ole' Philip Morris. Pay was great but to actually love what you do is rare.

I’ve owned several Japanese vehicles, as well as serviced them for 20+ years. No matter where they’re built they’ve lasted me 20 years or more. They cost less to own and service. Some of you are right, stay away from CVT. It was an attempt at fuel efficient, reliable propulsion, and failed. But most if not all manufacturers are starting to walk away from it. They all offer non-CVT options. Dollar for dollar the Japanese especially Toyota have gotten it right. Nissan is still not in a good place, but Honda is still a good reliable vehicle to own.

Some jobs will always be by human hands.. but fewer and fewer... each year.. will be needed. The changes aren't just how but what with and how.. Example mega castings.. automatically shrink the need for many additional parts and ops... Cars will have less parts more components be lighter cheaper to make better and last longer ... each year. I suspect it will be industry changing when we realize in five years that used EVs are as good at 500,000 miles as they were at 1 mile... no more break downs no need for repairs or service centers... mechanics could be a dying bread

Look how in tune and professional all of these men and women look. Then watch some videos of some of the domestic manufacturers and how their facilities and employees look. I’ve had American built Honda and Toyotas and even a Subaru now. few if any problems and the fit and finish is excellent. Built by American!I will never buy a car from a domestic manufacturer again.

Exempt from yearly emissions testing. Solid as tanks, safe, reliable, dependable, cool looking. Lots of iron and steel, unlike today's cars made of plastic, fiberglass and rubber. Today's cars, regardless who makes them, are cheap, unreliable, disposable junk, not meant to be repaired. CVT transmissions, cylinder deactivation, Thermal control valve, Variable valve timing, soy covered electrical wiring, thin glass, hardly any metal, lots of plastic, fiberglass and rubber. So many things to go wrong...so many distractions while driving.

What are you going about? You have no clue what you are talking about Variable valve timing or VVT or Vtec has been around for 20 years my 25 year old accord has vtec with no issues at 205k

Vehicles are still made with metal you have no clue what you are talking about a thermostat has been around on cars for 30 plus years and it helps regulate coolant temperature in the engine maybe look up what some of these functions do before you say it’s junk 😂

Think mass production is good. Here's the problem. More people on the planet less jobs. If they were working at factory. They have means. Buy cars they make or another manufacturer making world go round. No workers. No cars bought. Making them for nothing plus super expensive... Not cheaper because no payroll. More expensive. Without jobs no means no cars... Higher people to just watch make sure robots good. Holding that job position. Not much else can do. Getting rid of jobs puts stress on everything. So technology great just not good if takes jobs... Unless everyone stays home collects a paycheck doing nothing. Like to see this plan
