Gujarat has many big dairies like Amul(Anand Milk Union Limited) Dairy(Anand) also known as Dudhsagar Dairy, Sumul(Surat Milk Union Limited) Dairy(Surat), Banas Dairy(Banaskantha), Mother Dairy & Gandhinagar Dairy(Gandhinagar), Dudhsagar Dairy(), Ajod Dairy & Abad Dairy(Ahmedabad), Sabar Dairy(Sabarkantha) and many more. Gujarat has Milk Producer's Union in each district. Gujarat comes at first in Milk harvesting at 35% harvesting and Fifth in Milk Producing in India. No doubt why Gujarat known as Denmark of India.

For example dudhsagar dairy Mehsana sold ghee on name Sagar ghee, milk on name motisagar etc.

We Indians have to salute our farmers too as we salute to our Nation who cater our daily solid foods and dairy products. I watched many documentaries on dairy productions of USA, U.K, etc, I was under impression that only developed nations can achieve this mass production but after watching this documentary I came to know that we are on par with Developed nations. It is a very good documentary and one must watch how the streamline operating system and production line helping us to have a cup of milk, ice cream, cheese etc in our daily life. I thank our Indian farmers and Banas dairy/Amul M.D's and management who formed a cooperative society that helped farmers in earning their daily income.

this one is also run by politicians. This is one of the most corrupt and evil corporation in India. far off from it's original goal now after new management took over by politicians in 2001. they increased milk prices from 15 rs per liter to 40 r in just 2 years of span to make huge profits and all upper management is only political people or their relatives. there are no normal people managing anything. this corporation is responsible for almost 500% increase in milk and milk products prices in entire India causing pain to middle class and poor people.

Honey production and other items production should be promote, I am from dhanera and in my village no one is producing honey. I think reason is labor work and it is risky as woman will afraid to do this, without women help this milk business also can't get done. Banas dairy should promote machine which can cut grass and they should provide subsidy on it. Most time consuming is cutting grass for cows. It's my personal experience. My family is fully depends on milk production and I am studying computer science, this is only possible by this banas dairy.
