You should definitely purchase the Incredible Cross-Sections, and Complete Vehicles. They are brilliant reference books, which will satisfy you on that degree. It covers all the notable Star Wars vessels, from the films.

This video makes no sense with the rotating cockpit keeping the pilot always vertical. In Attack of the Clones, The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian, it doesn't for the pilot, which can clearly be seen in Episode 2 (Attack of the Clones) and in The Book of Boba Fett. Also, when Boba is firing at Obi-Wan in Ep2, Boba is standing on the back wall of the cockpit looking out the window to see if he shot him. Also, when Boba finally got Slave 1 back in Jabba's palace in The Book of Boba Fett, he is tearing the place apart because he can't see since he is facing the ceiling of the hanger. It does seem that the passenger portion rotates which can clearly be seen in Chapter 15 of The Mandalorian, though. It seems like Slave 1 is a difficult ship to pin down, really. Even the cross-sections shared differ in cockpit and passenger area layouts, which both differ from The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. I'm curious if anything new will published based on the designs of these two new series because I feel the cross-section books out there now have been made obsolete by new canon material.

This ship drastically changes its scale in different media. There were times when I thought it did not even have an interior but simply a cockpit and a trunk (just storage but not designed for passengers).

Interesting fact that the cockpit does NOT rotate with the wings. Only the passager seats. As we see in AOTC, Boba crawls in the seat and lies down on the back. The seat was not upright spoiler for BOBF In the new Episode he does exactly the same. Boba lies down and the seat was not upright

One big difference between canon and legends: In legends, Slave 1 was the last remaining firespray, since Jango destroyed the others. In canon, there appear to have been more out there, since Hondo calls it a "classic ship" and Rey finds one in a junkyard in a comic.

If it's a system patrol vessel.... why does it have a hyperdrive? I imagine that's one of the many upgrades needed for it. As I suspect, a prison system patrol vessel would be intentionally not given a hyperdrive to prevent prisoners from escaping the system at above light speed. And yes, before you say, "But hyperspace calculations. Just make sure the droid-" not all starships in SW used Astro-mech droids. Most ships of even modest size simply added a navigation computer to do the calculations, and both droids and computers can be hacked/bypassed. Anyways, the point is, installing a hyperdrive on this thing likely was a tall ask for Jango, so not surprised about cramped spaces.
