I don’t think people realize how crazy it is to sprint for 30 seconds 10 times lol

That’s alot, 10-15 seconds of sprinting 10 times is a lot, m it shows the level these athletes are at
@cknight0518Ай бұрын
Sprinting for 30 seconds is like running roughly 200m. Doing that 10 times means cumulatively sprinting 2000m. That's over a mile of sprinting! lmao

Why wouldn't he just have them do some kind of squatting or even split-squatting if he was interested in core stability and on-field performance? As edge rushers, they're gonna need explosive power way more than than the gimmicky endurance stuff he's got them doing. This goes to show you that top-tier athletes are at that level despite their training, not because of it.
@kennyray116CАй бұрын
I totally agree.

They need stability through full range of motion, in all body positions, and while exhausted to minimize injuries.
@ryanjohnston4249Ай бұрын
@@LagMasterSam Generally, when we're fatigued, our form breaks down. That means we're more likely to get injured, even with lighter weights. You can achieve stability through full range of motion with the exercises I just listed.

It really doesn’t matter for nfl players, they have such unbelievable genetics, they can do whatever they want and they still perform amazing.

You also gotta remember Micah is an elite athlete who has already developed insane strength and speed. This purpose could be more so for function and injury prevention rather than building muscle/ just strength.

This trainer is absolutely clueless. I don’t understand how pro athletes end up working with these people
@MrSpicaboooАй бұрын
Lets be real athletes are athletes because of their physical talents not cause of their brainpower, its easy to talk/sell em into a certain style of training if theyre ignorant to actual scientifically sound strength and conditioning
@L2_Phonk15 күн бұрын
You do realize pro athletes have the best trainers, he does know what he’s doing and it’s not like athletes are dumber than the average person, they are smarter because the have to remember so much stuff and use more brain power day to day than regular people, also every single person in the nfl has been to college for 3-4 years minimum. And position coaches and nfl strength and conditioning staff usually find personal trainers for them, these guys have to top line trainers and workout plans/equipment.
