Nice combination of very modern and yet managed to cozy it up - that view to the outside from the table, that section, is my dream. I would spend most of my time there, I see why it it's here favourite. Love how the modern monochromatic parts of the home like the living room are warmed up by the wood and that green in the view!! Love that she admits the girls' room just wasn't tidy enough to show! Ha! Simba is adorable.

Fantastic home. I especially loved that there isn’t a range hood over the stove. I don’t have one either, so it’s nice to see other ways to work with that space. The stairs are beautiful though I would worry about the trip hazard. Guess, it’s just my age showing now. :)

I thought I had seen this home before on this channel was a different home similar design. Not sure about the stairs though but if it works for them is great. I would have rather have seen the garden while it was light out. Nice home no less too much neutrals for me though.

The only thing I don’t like about this house is that there are open shelves in the kitchen vs cabinets and clearly the shelves work for that style of kitchen, I just hate open shelving lol so I’m just griping to gripe. Other than that this is such a beautiful home! The colors, textures, choosing to keep the black flat, etc. just really works for this place. ❤

Could’ve mounted the TV and Soundbar above the fireplace, it looks a bit odd on the side but other than the place looks amazing.

Mounting a tv above the fireplace looks awful, and puts your neck and eyes at a bad angle for viewing. Over a long period of time this could cause neck strain. This is a known problem, very subtle at first , you won't notice it until you start to get seemingly unrelated problems. If this house was built from new they should have thought this out a bit more . The tv is probably used more than the fireplace so should have taken the priority central positioning as it does seem a bit strange in that offset postion, and it is so large it would not look right positioned on the chimney breast . I dont see how they could change this now, the fireplace would have been better to one side.It's a compromise, and it works for them, but it does seem unbalanced. Maybe the tv is on a mountain and can be twisted around to improve the viewing angle, that would work. Lovely house though 😊
