My first recollection of watching “FroKnowsPhoto” was the series you did when you chronicled your mom’s battle with cancer. My oldest son is a cancer survivor and watching your raw emotion come out, I felt it. You also took one of my favorite DJs from Radio104.5 and I’m ecstatic that the two of you are still together. Keep on keeping on and I will continue to look forward to every segment you post, especially now that I know “Raw Talk” is still being produced. Peace!

Hope your son is well, and doing good. The emotion about our nearest and dearest are so boundless. My father and mother died just 15 days apart. I know how it feels loosing your dearest in such a short time. I had to be like heart of steel to control my emotion and go on with my normal job. Coz I had responsibility of my younger brothers. Had I not been that strong they couldn’t succeed. Everything is fine Now. But even after 6 years there's not a single day that I don't remember my parents. Peace.

You walked out of the frame and it found the eye in your photo book, incredible. The eye AF is insane. I did a photoshoot for fun with my friend's horse galloping around me. 30 minutes, 300 pics, THREE missed focus. THREE 🤯

Thanks! As an old retired broadcast TV director, I really enjoyed the tour. I did think that some of it was green screen because the backgrounds looked so good. The quality that you get from your R5s, Canon glass and eye-focus is amazing. (I have an R5, and I love it. I just ordered an R7 to go with it). It never occurred to me that you had so many different setups. Good thinking color coding the floor marks to the different setups. Nicely done!

i find that Fro's videos are a quality wet dream. you can see the sharpness, color correct filming, and good lighting. i know people use that tired old cliche "equipment doesn't matter", but it does, just the amount of lighting , and quality to get the super sharp quality video requires a good investment. proud of you Jared.

I actually call you, "one of the old guys!" That is because, I have been shooting for about 10 years now and of all the thousands of content creators, your channel remains the most consistent, most improving and most current of all the folks on KZbin. I do not own a I Shoot Raw t-shirt yet but, my body building days are way past, now it is about covering my nips ROFLOL!!!!! Thank you for this video, out of the box a bit, but that is OK!!!!!! It was like your bowling series a while back, I liked to see you and your style and tips for shooting the Pro Bowlers!!!! Again, I'm a big fan, was shocked when you dumped Nikon, even though I understand, your videos and presentations are beyond excellent!!!!! Great job Fro!!!!! Moonpie (From TN a Nikon shooter D7500)

When you first showed up on KZbin, way back when, I thought, man, this guy is perfect for TV, but I knew no network would ever attempt a show dedicated to photography. That stung a little because it’s one of my favorite subjects. Still, you had potential to be an amazing host, and a great character to advocate for the art. Fast forward, and Jared, man, you made it happen! You have created what no one would ever have invested in. For that, I truly thank you. It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch you grow and evolve, and really embody the role as an ambassador for photography and photographers worldwide. Absolutely entertaining.

With the exclusion of KZbin, what do you do to make money? And if you are still doing paid photography work, how much are you making? What style pays you? I ask because your business is so KZbin based now and I'm sure that eats into your ability to be a stills photographer. Am I right or way off? Beautiful studio BTW

Amazing! Thanks for sharing. When watching your videos, everything seems so easy and hassle-free. One doesn't realize how much work, effort and planning needs to be done "backstage". I love how everything that is usually in frame is super clean and tidy and everything that is outside of the camera's view is a work mess :D (which is completely normal).

Genuinely wanted to thank you for firing my love for photography again. I've shot since I was old enough to understand what a camera was (my first was a goofy little barbie themed polaroid) and never looked back. But over the last few years my time for it sort of fell off but I'm finally getting back out there and shooting again. The information you give and the knowledge you have really just reminded me, hey I love that, and I never want to stop that. So again - thanks! Bought a new camera from Allens - it gets here thursday. :)
