I got to meet Charlie at Memories Theater in Pigeon Forge in 2002. We had just traveled in from Memphis after touring Graceland, and we told him about our visit. He was a super nice guy. I bought his book and he autographed it. I still have it. But the whole time I talked to him, all I could think was, "This man was actually on stage with Elvis in Aloha."😊 Never mind Vegas and the 1,000 other concerts, lol. It's just, to me, Aloha was the absolute pinnacle for Elvis, and I was in awe to shake the hand of someone who was there and played a huge role in Elvis's life. RIP, Charlie.

Charle seemed like a nice guy and about the only one of those guys I seem to gravitate to, it must've been hard for some of these people to sit back and watch Elvis destroy himself knowing they couldn't stop it. Imagine having the difficult choice of chiming-in and being ostracized and then not knowing anything that was happening or biting your tongue and just watching the guy slowly fall apart, wow what a conundrum that must've been, damned if you do damned if you don't. I've been around people in similar situations as Elvis and WOW they really change and don't really know what they're doing and will snap on anybody, so I'm sure Charlie tried his best to keep that from happening to himself, understandably so. I followed Charlie and his interviews and he really hasn't spoken about any of the negativity, he tries to distance himself from it and im sure he tried his hardest to avoid it as it was happening 😢

Elvis is such a big story and all the people surrounding him got semi famous too. Long time fan. I believe Joe was a rat for Parker and kept people away like Steve Binder & others who wanted to replace Parker. It was Joe who put together Priscilla with Elvis in the Army with Curry Grant. He gave her pink letters to Elvis for 2.5 years until she finally got Elvis to let her visit at 16. Then all of a sudden while Elvis was in LA, her parents pull her out of HS(six months before graduation) to live at Graceland. Why the rush, Elvis was in LA not Memphis at the time. Those pink begging letters are missing. Anita said she was begging Elvis to talk to her father to come over. Curry Grant passed a lie detector test and Prissy failed it. She was a Honeypot trap. Lisa said her mother treated her like a trophy for cash & fame. I bet Prissy Pants will get cremated & thrown right on Elvis. Poor man.

I just listen to what Joe had to say on his show and I’m never gonna click on so call Billy show ever again ever for one thing it’s not Billy show. It’s his wife show she does all the talking. I’m very discussed it very disgusted. I didn’t know the terrible things they said about Desiree. I didn’t know how they were picking on her and making fun of her, it’s very disgusting. How old are you? You’re not two years old if you’re 100% sure that the whole story was made up why don’t you do the DNA just shut her up shut everybody up it’s kind of obvious she doesn’t want to do the DNA because it might be positive, it’s so obvious and I feel so bad for because she’s 66 years old. This woman has wondered all her life and was told all her life that Elvis Presley was her father and I feel she has a right to know so she can put this to rest if it is her father or it isn’t, but since Billy’s wife wants to act like a two-year-old and downgrade Desiree for no reason they don’t even know the whole story they don’t even know the evidence they wasn’t there when Elvis was 18 years old. I’m very disgusted. Very disgusted because I know Elvis Presley would be so disgusted right now, so disgusted would say go do th😮😮is go do this so this girl has peace so I’m very disgusted well, when Billy dies, he’s gotta answer to Elvis. That’s how I look at it.

@angeliabrown3179 Desiree didn’t know until AFTER Elvis died that her Mother claimed Elvis was her Father. I also believe the Smiths have a right to do what they want but it would be kind to let Desiree know one way or the other. Desiree is an ELDERLY woman herself; she’s 66 yrs old. Knowing wouldn’t only give her peace of mind but is important for medical history too.
