biggest problem with grailed are the ridiculously high seller fees. at this point, sellers just want to use grailed as a free advertisement place while selling their actual clothes directly through paypal.

visceraeyes525 I emailed them saying they should make incentives for sellers that lower those fees. For example sell 5 items and your 6th item has 0 fee. Or the more you sell, the lower your fees. And even maybe a monthly charge membership fee of like $9.99 (or any amount) to pretty much cut that 9% charge to about 5%.

It used to be hard to find the piece you wanted because people were selling mostly on Ebay and fashion forums. Now everyone is on Grailed, it's great to have one big community like that

I think grailed is a huge step forward for the fashion community kind of educating people on style as a whole as well as their own personal tastes, but the problem is all the toxic people on the site. I'm a kid myself, but I think that one of the biggest problems i see is kids lowballing to the nines as well as the arguments people seem to get into. Instead of spreading positivity and knowledge throughout the community, some of these fuckheads just start shit. But grailed is a really good start for moving away from hypebeast cancer babies

"affordable" is relative obviously, but a higher price point is a given when entering the high fashion game. however, there's a lot of affordable stuff for 20-30$ in the basics section, lots of nice stuff worth taking a look at.

so much shit on grailed is affordable. Supreme under retail, for retail or close to retail and Undercover, Number9, etc so many designer brands for under retail. You just have to know how to look, i go on it everyday about 20 times a day and the amount of steals i find is crazy.

I don't want to put Grailed down, but here goes. I sell on Grailed and early this year I started out well selling two items. But since then -- nothing. So here's the reason why IMO: They only have apple/io mobile accessibility and not Android. I have questioned them about it many times, but they are so smug they won't change. There are double the amount of Android phones vs. Apple phones. They want to website to work itself, and they're not putting any effort into it beyond blogging now and then. You never see Grailed in Pinterest/Google shopping. Grailed -- please take note! you're leaving money on the table.

They prefer Streetwear. I list the classic brand names like Brooks Brothers and Levis. It seems the most attention and "favorites" go to the graphic T's....the more modern stuff vs. the classic stuff. You should just visit their website, get on the newsletter and see what sells.

The Grailed site really needs to be better. I know it's built with React but the initial load for the .js is humongous. 3mb inital load that isn't gzipped? SPA but no code splitting at all with webpack? I'm guessing they use react-router with that. Well, they have a bunch of users so whatever I guess.

No one will reply to me. Im new to grailed, and 2 people messaged me about my supreme hoodie saying "trades" and i replied with "for?" And no reply for a few days now. Same with someone offering $155 plus shipping on it and I accepted it and no reply at all.

trades are off site transactions so if you get scammed its your fault. And if you accept their offers the potential buyer has to accept to pay, they do that all the time, offer and after their offers get accepted they dont pay. be patient on grailed, things do sell eventually
