Wow the LA Kings could have been great tenants there in a shared facility! You forgot to mention NHL when you were naming sports who’s building it was not going to be. And the Chargers and Rams play out of Sofi stadium. Crazy that a basketball, stadium and complex could cost that much. Good for the owner asking for 500 million for the naming rights. Joking aside about the Kings, that place will not have a problem trying to fill other nights. I could see the WWE wanting to go there, concerts, awards shows, college tournaments for all sorts of events like volleyball, gymnastics.

I'm glad to see Ballmer & the clippers getting their own place & kicking the junky lakers to the curb. I look forward to seeing to seeing the clipper hopefully become the LA top team even though in reality I can't stand them & can't stand the warriors & lakers even less. I'm also impressed that Ballmer is willing to put money his own money into the team & showing true commitment to the team the players & most of all the fans so I have to respect that no other team does that certainly not the warriors or the lakers. Ballmer seems to love the team unlike most billionaire nba & nfl owners who while they may love the team & the sport they play the owners expect handouts from politicians fans & citizens focusing on making themselves richer. still it's an ugly building but nicer then the former stable center which I'm sure in a couple years what's her face owner will expect the city to fund a new arena even though she's pretty wealthy even without being worth ballmer money. Also the farce & scam of being carbon free is completely pointless even the video points out that all the nonsense all the ugly solar panels only store enough power for 6 hours.... which is fine for a 3 hour game or a 2 hour concert or play but in reality is completely pointless in helping change anything.

Their pretty much hit or miss they either make a good run including but not always to the finals or they completely fall apart & don't make the playoffs or just by a hair because some other team was just that much worse. Same goes for the Warriors The last time the lakers were really any good was when Kobe was still playing but even then lakers didn't have their mojo like when Kobe had shaq to help & protect grab rebounds etc. And now the Lakers have doubled down on Lebron's son who's start in summer league is so well even picked second round had he not been Lebron's son he wouldn't have been drafted at all by any team.

I liked Spud webb, chris webber, Michael Jordan, Magic & Kareem, Larry bird, & jason williams growing up after about 2008 basketball changed & it wasn't face paced & exciting it was slow paced & the same one or two people on a team trying to do everything & crying over everything when it didn't go their way while demanding more money causing higher ticket costs & merchandise prices. Even Shaq & Charles Barkley admit the nba hasn't been the same for a long time & not the game either of them remember playing. I believe they have to the conference finals 1 maybe 2 but never won again they aren't my team & neither are the warriors who car close to where I live. I don't know who I'd pick if forced to pick & watch the nba again but it wouldn't be warriors or the lakers or the clippers I can tell you that much. BTW how far did the lakers get this season? I believe the clippers made it further again then the lakers did even if it wasn't to the conference finals or beyond. What's that say about the lakers & the warriors didn't even make it to the playoffs. I enjoyed that hear the depression of co-workers almost as great as when the 9ers got all the way to super bowl & lost... yet the 9ers like the warriors were expect sure fire teams. Opps. Seeing all the people after each team failed suddenly back to hating the particular team because they only care when the team is doing good & not true fans like when I was growing up. Lebron & Curry all falling from their pedestals back to reality & talks by fans suddenly of trading high priced older players no matter how much they claim to love & respect said player because now they suck.
