Love Ehua's drums at 4:36. That's that attention to detail in the hi-hat programming that's often the overlooked part to this sound. The bass is sometimes the obvious thing. But it's the feel of the hats that really make it groove. Boddika is a legend too. Like the lo-fi video production style here too, suits grimey, funky London. But what's very cool is the diverse lineup and the fact that you seem to be not focusing on the equipment so much, letting them speak and listening to their personal outlook. Sometimes I think there's more mileage in the mini-documentaries like the great one that was done on Amulets.

Thanks! Full features coming soon. Each one will dive a little more into details and talking about musical approaches + gear. Which one are you looking forward to the most?

@ThomannSynthesizers I think Ehua, was impressed with her soundworld and programming. Boddika too, love to see people explain their modular setups. Because it's so individual.

@@ThomannSynthesizersCool. Good work guys. Looking forward to the Ehua one most, because I liked her programming, soundworld and the London vibe of it. Also Boddika, because I love see people describe their modular instruments. Because people's approaches and use of the choice of tools and how they use them is so personal.

Quite fun to see you popping around my local, although the 90’s filter making it look like a different London 😀 fun tho 👍

Don't want to point fingers, great video but please less focus on these influencer Gucci sugar daddy "artist" and more on the real real. Danke.

Is this the trailer for a future video, or the actual video itself? A more than 5 minute intro for a less than 10 minute video, and mostly just a collection of artfully filmed b-roll shots with the artists themselves just given a few seconds to talk. This was just style over content. I'm a big fan of your work, but sorry, this film was pointless. Why not give 5, 10 minutes to each of the artists that you filmed and interviewed, with a proper look around their studios?

Of course we also shot individual full length features for all of the artists and additional Between The Lines Episodes for Boddika, TSVI and Lauren Faith. This Vlog is just a teaser. They will all be released soon ✌️
