What I like about your studio is that it's a proper studio. Not just another standing desk in a random bedroom, but a purposefully built space. As a video editor and videographer, I appreciate this!

Hey Karra, is the conversion on the Prism Titan that much better than the Apollo? Looking to get an interface. Thanks! Great studio and video!
@ReidStefanMusic Жыл бұрын
yes Prism conversion sounds much better for mic inputs, audio outputs, headphone amps, speaker quality. However Prism App is extremely basic, and doesn't have any helpful "headphone mix" features like the UAD Console app, which we primarily depend on for latency free vocal production workflow.
@jsasa5668 Жыл бұрын
@@ReidStefanMusic appreciate that. I am curious to see what will be presented at NAMM, but I am thinking about the Lyra 2 which for my needs may be plenty, although the 4 mic inputs of the Titan (or Apollo x8) seem appealing as they wouldn't limit me as much. Thanks for the reply!
@iamkarramusic Жыл бұрын
I sing better with FX in my headphones, so i record using the Apollo, even though prism does sound slightly better technically. Visiting NAMM is a great way to compare products in person!
@jsasa5668 Жыл бұрын
@@iamkarramusic good point about recording with fx! Thanks for both your replies. Also, you probably know this, but the new ATC smc25a mkII have a better tweeter. I spoke to a rep at Vintage King who has the original ones but has already placed the order for the mkII. He mentioned the tweeter on the "mkI" were not made by them and that interestingly, the tweeter on the 20a and 45a were better. this mkII addressed this.

Thank you for the tour, both work and personal spaces. I’m just redoing my studio, cleaned off my desk and set out my crystals and whatnot. Awesome to see the TF 251. Did you test it against others, such as the Mojave MA-1000? I’d also be interested on your thoughts regarding the UA Sphere DLX (I think you list that?) versus the TF 251. Congrats on your awards, have you done a showcase of your projects? I’ll go back and check your videos, but in case you haven’t, I’d love to see one.

HI Karra. Big fan if both you and Stefan here. My niece, all of 18, is a songwriter, and I wanted to show her that video where are jamming and moving from one keyboard to another and building a track in real time, but i can't seem to find that particular video. It was more of a live jam than an instructional video. Can you tell me where it is? Thanks!
