Honestly, small town/city living is amazing and cheap. I ended in a rural area of Idaho for school and feel very at peace with $600 rent for my own place. Like this guy said, no one worries about crime or people stealing your stuff. Even the homeless are respectful enough and don't just panhandle here.

He accepts working hard in the terrible Arizona heat with the smells everywhere along with crap flying in his face. Not complaining. Just hoping he can get a house on that smelly land. Bless this man. My God open up doors to this man and his family. You compassionately show stories of people's struggles in life and the sadness of it. You have a lot of subscribers now. Unfortunately I didn't find out til after I signed the contract buying my mobile home. That the lot didn't come with the mobile. So now 8 yrs later I'm 64 and they want their lot back for family. I'm still here tho and they are bout ready to take me to court. It's been so hard finding a place to move. This mobile is a 2002 so it's too old for a lot of mobile courts. It's in really good condition. I'm just praying I find somewhere.

I bought a really nice 64X16 in a park cheap because they just want the rent. My wife and I lived there for 13 years. We did not owe money and found an acre of land just outside the city on dirt roads. The land was only $29,000. We bought it, had the home moved and set up. I was still able to work hard, though in my mid 70's, so I built a garage, added on two big decks, and we have a wonderful home, which we paid off. Now in our 80's we live on SS and save money every month. I do all the home repairs as the labor rates today are insane. We own 2 cars, one 23 years old and the other 20 years old. I maintain what I can on them, the rest I go to a good shop. With Amazon and the Safeway delivery program we do not have to drive that much. The best part is the taxes are very low and we can live very comfortably.

This is a really cool tour that lower income (still income earned though) families can relate to better and appreciate. Thank you! Affordable Mobile Home Parks needs to desparately make a come back. 2 years ago we were finally able to purchase a home but we qualified for a max $210,000 home loan and 2 yrs ago homes for sale were just starting to sky rocket and there weren't many on the market. Thanks to our great realtor she found us a big triple wide 4 bedroom 2 bath manufactured home $157,000 in a nice small Mobile Home Park $425 space rent and we qualified for it and our story (lived in a travel trailer for 2 yrs) won out a cash price buyer thank God because the seller was once in our same situation (travel trailer living) at one time. So thank goodness for Mobile Home Parks because we are now finally homeowners and we love our new home.

You'll get used to the smell after a few days. I have relatives who have farms in Mississippi, where I am originally from. You learn a lot living on and working on farms. It's a great wholesome way to bring up kids. It can be hard work too. It teaches self-sufficiency too. Hopefully, this gentleman gets one of the homes on the farm. I lived on my then stepdad’s farm for several years and it was fantastic and my stepdad was just the best, quiet guy with a heck of a work ethic. He worked 6-3 during the day in a factory then came home and milked the cows, bailing hay/straw. Planting wheat, hay, corn for the cows and hogs. We had a garden and my Mom canned alot back then and baked cookies and made supper and we actually attended a one room country school! Mrs. Kenworthy best the best teacher we ever had even after our Mom left the best man we four kids loved especially after our Dad passed away when I was just 8yrs old. I digress, farm life was and is the best way of life to raise kids. Love you Carl Hardwick we always will always… My mother married 5x after that and they sucked believe me. A bunch of douche bags. Too bad bc my Mom was a pretty, hardworking woman just couldn’t handle being alone I guess. But, us 4 kids paid the price for those useless bastards. We all cut out of the house at 18 if that tells you anything… Love you Mom, rest in peace. We love and miss you to this day. Thank god for therapists!

I plan to open a trailer park. So I enjoy these videos... learning experience. I plan to do small laundry mat, dumpsters, and a playground which I will maintain as long as I am alive. However I do not want anything older than 20 years... expectation only will be made if you move in with a 18 year old trailer and of course your trailer is 21 years old after living in the park for a time and a reliable renter I will let it slide. I have even debated free wifi just depends and that would come down the road. If renters were interested in something like that I could charge each person $5 month and overall that would cover fiber wifi setup for the entire park. I want around 10 plots for trailers when I first begin. I am already renting couple houses which I plan to sell here soon to fund this project. This isn't so much about the money for me its more about helping people who need a place to live... and showing world trailer parks can be nice and have a upscale vibe to it.

I hope everything works out for you. I think the prices of lot rent is ridiculous and they are just robbing people. I think if someone was actually there to help people they make more money in the long run because you will be able to keep decent people in your trailer park and it will make it a lot nicer, cleaner and safer which people will stay because it's that and more importantly safe. God bless 🙏💞🙏

I bought my for $36 little over a year ago in CB IA. Now they are going for $85! Cheapest models too. Lot rent is $500 here also and people complain but the owners have to pay the taxes as ALL property owners do. They provide water and trash and snow removal so people don't realize those costs are involved as well as maintenance repairs to gas lines etc. Another cost home owners pay. So it isn't such a rip. But sometimes our water is yellow. But I think the water situation around the country is going to crap.

It's still a pyramid scheme because they don't raise the lot rent based on that, they tac on the profit their fee fees tell themselves they deserve. The fact of the matter is that we live in a false meritocracy where the little beleevees of the haves dictates the deservees of the have-nots. The haves have the land & the have nots do not.

a mobile home, especially an older one that you can pay cash for can be a good deal for housing. You have your own space, but pay space rent. I spent 20 years in a double wide in CA. Cheapest living going. Even though space rent is big cost it allows you privacy and your own space. Our park had a well too, but that meant that our water was a flat rate of $7 a month. One thing a mobileh ome will NOT get you is an investment. But I think for the sq ft provided it's the cheapest you're going to find providing you can pay cash for the home.

if you want to reach out to me I’ll tell you all about those dairy farms. It’s actually where I met my husband. And we both ran the dairy here in Moapa Nevada for several years. I can tell you anything you want to know about a Dairy. The dairy used to be called hidden Valley dairy. We also lived on that dairy for many years, it’s where we were able to save money to buy our house that we have now. But I would love to tell you about it if you would like to know. None of those houses that you see you at the dairy are given to anybody. The nicer houses are where the managers or you would call them Herdsman live. So you probably have a Herdsman, then his right hand man, and probably a breeder that live in the nicer homes. Then the trailers that you see are going to probably belong to those individual workers there just allowed to bring them on the dairy and park them there and they don’t have to pay any space rent or electric or water. But none of that land on a dairy is sectioned off and give them to anybody. It’s owned by the person that owns the dairy. My husband is also Mexican. I can tell you so much about this. Although, this man knows a lot about this dairy farm he doesn’t know even a fraction of what any of that stuff is. That alfalfa is only a small part of the cow’s diet. It has to be a balanced diet, where a nutritionist is actually working there at the dairy as well. The grain has to be mixed just right, or the cows will get very sick. they also will throw hormones and medicines in that milk to make the cows produce more milk. It’s a pretty sad life for cows. They continue to breed them to make them have babies so that can continue to produce milk. When they can’t do it anymore then they’re sent to beef. And that is the nasty beef that you see like in Walmart and stuff it’s just old dairy cows. actually, I should do a whole video on this. I’m sure people would love to know how a Dairy operates. Not some documentary because they’re gonna tell you what they want to tell you. But I can tell you what really happens at a dairy farm. Those ponds that he’s talking about that the water goes to is called shit ponds. They can’t allow any of that water to leave the property. Otherwise they will get fined by the EPA. Im surprised he was able to take you around that dairy because he’s not the Herdsman. It sounds like he’s just kind of a jack of all trades there. He really doesn’t do anything in particular. everything on a dairy farm is sold. Where are you? See those piles of shit, that’s manure , the same manure that you would throw out into your grass. But that manure also catches on fire because it creates so much heat, we would constantly have those manure piles on fire. I can tell you some stories about that too.

I love these American stories. These are the lives of our neighbors and friends. We appreciate each other for how little we have materially, but how much we have in friendship...

Sorry I was dying when you two were going past the poop in the beginning and at the end I lost it. Props to anyone that could work around that smell. I have a dog's nose and I would just quit breathing. Lol Very funny and a great man doing a stinky job and not complaining at all, just doing a great job to keep his family afloat. But I agree they need to be paid a bonus to work around that smell. That stuff gets into your pores and everything else but he's a good man to be able to be around that everyday. May God bless him and his family and help him get where he wants to go in life. 🙏💞🙏

You had me rolling while touring the dairy farm, I think your reaction was similar to the majority of us. I hope he doesn’t get in trouble taking you thru there, I found it very educational and learned how resourceful they are. I sure hope they get to live in one of the houses there, a couple of air filters around the house will take care of the aroma outside 😊

I’ve milked many cows in a parlor like that one. My suggestion would be to get some piped in music for the cows. Studies show cows relax more and will let their milk down easier if classical music is being played throughout their area❤
