Ive seen the full programme..it concluded Elvis had a heart seizure not caused by an overdose but by general poor health..and that although there was a large number of types of meds in him..none were at fatal levels..he died of heart failure because of his overall poor lifestyle ..good and informative documentary if u can find a copy by a professional pathologist..Elvis's autopsy has never been made public btw..only the Medical Enquirers report and toxicolgy report..the ME concluded from the autopsy and the TR that Elvis died of HCVD ..Hypertensive cardio vascular disease citing natural causes..it's all there to be seen by anyone interested, except the autopsy report itself which the Presley family still hold

@@zucan100 it does but it is incomplete and drug overdose is ruled out.in the full programme.as it was in 1994 and in 1980 when the full autopsy was officially reviewed again.Codeine reaction against the staggering multiple number(as mentioned here) of health issues he had .This pathologist unfortunately still hasn't had sight of the autopsy which goes a lot further into detail..parts have in fact been leaked but the full document will be released in 6 yrs and is likely to rewrite what popular pop culture stereotypes say about all of the various circulating causes of death.

I’ve always thought drugs had to have played a role in his death, and I refused to believe he died “naturally” of a heart attack. After watching this it’s revealed that yes his heart stopped after straining for a vowel movement, but his constipation was worsened by his drug abuse. Not to mention his poor diet and other health issues he had. Sad, he’ll always be second to none in my eyes. His official autopsy report also was never released and probably never will be, I assume it’s because there may be more to it...

@@blackkat563 I don't believe thats correct. Just as this documentary states, the drugs were not at lethal levels. I think this documentary is as close to the truth we're ever going to get to it. @@blackkat563 I didn't hear them say they had the autopsy report, they said they went off the toxicology report. The toxicology report stated only codeine was at lethal levels, although they refer to the mixing of anti-depressants and pain killers as dangerous. I think the reference was 10x the normal amount. Elvis had a high tolerance for drugs, so they the pathologist states. Elvis had a minor ailment to codeine, it made him itch - apparently quite common. Marty Lacker refers to Elvis taking codeine regularly in the 60s and he references this is the Elvis and The Memphis Mafia book and on the EIN website. I agree with most of the rest you've written especially with regard Dr. Nick, he overprescribed and lost his licence because of it. The ones who call him the good doctor, in my opinion, do so because he at times did try and control Elvis's dosages and 'manage the pain'. Was the pain due to drug withdrawal at times, who knows. Clearly, Elvis was addicted. I think this world-renowned pathologist who has some serious credentials that outgun possibly yours and definitely mine is most likely on the money here. Where are you hearing about his weight at 330 lbs. I heard 230 in the doco and apparently, he'd put on a bit in the previous 8 weeks before passing. "Theories with no proof", the doco interviews the Chief Medical Investigator at the time who was physically at the autopsy. Are we watching the same doco?

jewelbell5 That’s not exactly true is it? Elvis was found with multiple drugs in his system. Some of them are used to treat terminal cancer patients. He had inordinate amounts of codeine in his system along with numerous other drugs that were found.

VjSmith nah personal responsibility includes recovering from trauma by holding people who wronged you accountable and distancing when they’re toxic. Something he never had the chance to do, and a valid criticism to make when judging an addicts life as a whole considering addiction comes from SOMEWHERE and becomes a problem because it fills a void.

If you're used to, addicted to, or rely on sleeping pills to sleep, either get professional help or try detoxifying yourself. It's very hard to get used to sleeping without pills but it can be done with willpower and special help.

Elvis would never had committed suicide! He wouldn't have done that to his fans, and his daughter was in the house. Why would he commit suicide with his daughter in the house? She might have found him. He would never have wanted to be found in the bathroom lying on the floor half clothed! He had too much pride to be found that way! He was a very private man and if he was going to commit suicide he wouldn't have been making plans for the future as he was doing.
