Now with the pro r, maverick r and speed utv i would like to see the japanes utv market go nuts. The japanese are known for fast cars and faster motorcycles aka superbikes but when it comes to utvs they have these small engines with small a arms, small swing arms and small radius rods but then you look at this car with its long body and wide long suspension it makes me wonder wtf why didnt they make a production version of this thing? This thing looks nothing like a talon. It doesnt make any sense and hopefully the new cars i mentioned that came out makes the japanese sxs market step up their game. I understand that this is a race car but race cars are ment to be built off the original car and ive seen talon race cars built off the original body but this is a monster and needs to be put into production or something like it in the future.

It looks exactly like a 4-seat Talon with a cage, long travel kit, and custom made FOX factory shocks. Proctor will sell you everything but perhaps the shocks to make this for yourself. You can already buy FOX RC2 IBP 2.5/3.0 shocks made for the Talon. So spend ~$50k and your own labor and you can have pretty close to that car. For the price of a factory Pro R Ultimate out the door you could have this. It's not gonna be more fun but it'll be bulletproof for the average putz.

@theingobeck4772 I get that and yeah it looks like a 4 door turned into a two ive seen that done with the x3 where they take a 4door and turn it into a big 2door it's actually super sick but what I'm saying is that's alot of work and like you said you can buy a stock pro r which I own for the same price. What I'm saying is no one is going to buy a talon and spend all that money when you can just buy something better with a warranty like a pro r plus a pro r comes with a 4 cylinder not a 2. If I had to put a price tag on that talon in the video I'd say it's upwards of $100k+ so back to what I'm saying I'd like to see a production version like this. The utv wars have just kicked off which I've been waiting for. You have the pro r, mav r, speed utv which I'm not a fan of, brawley gts and now the segway super villian which is sick and kawasaki is dropping something next year with a 4cylinder possibly supercharged maybe with a H2 superbike motor so now I'm happy. They have had Car wars Superbike wars and now the utv wars are happening I just wanna see some pro r level sxs from the japanese is all like the talon in the video but production with a vtec engine.

@@motorcyclestig8539 Honda's obviously not too worried about being at the back of the line. They sell every Talon they make. I hope they add more horsepower but the Talon chassis is light and strong and I hope they stick to that. Not everyone wants a 1.5 ton UTV. Still, you can build a badass Talon that's super-strong and fast enough for under $50k thanks to Raceco, Jsport and others that are supporting the high-end/racing aftermarket for the Talon. Not everyone wants a 1.5 ton SXS.

Strange Honda isn't competing head to head with Polaris, Can-Am and I'll even say Speed. They have the engine technology and know-how to create a 225+ sxs with long travel suspension and a true front locker diff but here we are year after year with basically a color change. Step up your game Honda

OK honda if you see this.. Step up the r model make it bigger longer wider and give us the 7th gear like the honda goldwing... can am just came out with the duel clutch 7 speed... we need 7th gear I ride in wv and when I hit 65 up sound like I'm going blow it up like to it 85 and cruise... need bumb up the hp to 115 120.. give us throttle by wire and give better intake. Make the r 72inch wide make it little longer give more room in the cab give us seats we can tilt back lower down some give us atleast 10 gallon gas tank.. and please I know ever one will agree on raise Rev up to 10 to 10.5 sorry it sucks when u getting into the power and boom its at 8 grand already sucks... give us a Water tempt gauge number instead them bars I like know how hot it is... give us buttons on the cluster to set different things and give it Option where we can choose different hours for oil change.. the x is fine for what it is but please make the r way better bigger power long travel 72inch and give it better gearing for 32s and bigger... need better turning and not shorting it... and give it same size tires and rims all around. And for love of God get rid of the i-4wd. Do a true 4-wd...

All plus be nice give a more sporty steering wheel rubber Moded to... and in the dash give it Multiple functions screen with GPS shows what shocks doing radio and Dinoxic reading if something happens it tells u what it is and the code... something in the lines like the ride command and the krx screen but better then the krx..

Whoops at 85 on a stock engine with minimal tuning?! It takes me forever to hit 73 on my R. Even without the 75mph governor I can’t imagine getting it to go 85. No tune, but it’s hard d to believe that a tune can make that much difference.

They raise the rev limit, tune for race fuel, and I'd be surprised if the head and cam weren't reworked. Still stock pieces but they're built. You can gain ~40% HP with a built Talon N/A motor. My stock Talon will hit 80 on 32" tires at lower elevations. Actually when I hit the 74mph limit on the Speedo I'm at 84mph GPS.

Why does Honda refuse to sell stuff like this to the public. Everyone I know would buy one of these if they would sell something similar. Honda won't sell the cool stuff anymore. They don't sell any good racing quads anymore, and they won't sell a high HP SXS with decent suspension either... Such a shame.😢

There are import laws that don't allow them to use the same large displacement as North America models like polaris and canned ham.

@@r.l.sheldrake2109 Did I hurt your feelings. Are you going to say the Talon is on par with the other offerings. Honda makes great products across a wide spectrum. That said, the utv side is not at the level of the others.
