Can the BMS in the old 9.5 be upgraded /changed to the new beast mode BMS?

The beast mode can't be accessed yet; some updates to the inverter are required for an increased charge/discharge. This BMS upgrade isn't available for the Gen 1 / Gen 2 batteries. We had a long interview with Paul Landregan, in which he gave more context about the upcoming updates - you can watch it on this channel.

GivEnergy has fallen off the cliff in technical support.

Thanks for the comment; we know Givenergy has been changing to Zen Desk alongside transitioning to SSO for enhanced security, which led to high volumes of enquiries (as we also had some trouble a couple of weeks back). We have been able to contact them for the last couple of weeks. If you email [e-mail], they have been responding within typically 48 hours. If they don't, drop another comment here, and we will email them for you 💪 🔋
