I bought this tent from you earlier this month. Your video was very helpful in making my decision to buy. Many thanks 🙏🏻

I've watched a few of your videos and have found them super useful! which had lead me to buy this tent. Unfortunately it wasn't from you guys as I could get it cheaper else where but thanks for making the super helpful videos anyway!

I've got the solo version of this and am pretty impressed with it. Quick and easy to pitch, very roomy and airy, lots of features and good value. Sure, it's no mountain tent but ideal for lowland cycle touring.

Jon Mathias it's what I wanted for a UK to Singapore cycle tour. How roomy is it?
@jonmathias61597 жыл бұрын
Stewy K9 You should be able to look up the dimensions online but the inner is 2.23m x 0.86m and the porch is just mahoosive for one. Could get a bike under it for repair, for example.

they make it in 1 man version ???
@jonmathias61597 жыл бұрын
Solo Bikepacker Sure do. Google MSR Hubba 1. Weighs a smidge over 2kg and loads of room for cycle touring. Not the prettiest tent I've ever owned but well-suited for three season touring.
@Bikepacking7 жыл бұрын
yeah i just searching it now msr had video which i watched before this video they said only in 2 or 3 person they must have decide to bring out the 1 man tent as most people tour solo .. so you think it not tough enough for 4 season .. i already have the free lite 1 which is great for 3 season

Just an FYI. The Canadian version of this tent is white (light grey) and the vestibule does not have a fly screen... it only has the main fly door.

Hi, I just ordered this tent and I live in Canada and you are right...I actually just realized this from another video online,,,,kind of a bummer that it has no screen... Don't know why MSR did that (probably to save weight)??

are there any other differences between the two versions?

Is the Tour as sturdy as the Access? Are the poles the same strength? I have heard of the Tour described as a 3.5 season tent. What do you think?
@trekitt3 жыл бұрын
The Tour is based on the Hubba range of tents and has greater ventilation and lighter poles than the Access range of tents. If you need full 4 season performance stick with the Access range. Paul.

Have you had any customers finding that this tent leaks through the outer seams at the toggle points? (more than just condensation levels). Just wondering if I have a faulty tent or its an endemic problem for this tent. cheers

Was this tent purchased from us? If so, it would be worth contacting our returns department who should be able to help you! If not, we'd recommend contacting the retailer who supplied the tent and they should be able to offer similar advice. www.trekitt.co.uk/pages/returns/

1200 HH is pathetic for the price. Such a shame MSR tents are not weatherproof for wet weather.

@@bazzmidas I agree - I sent mine back as it leaked like a sieve

This Tour model of MSR tent leaks like a sieve.

Hi Alex, so sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with your MSR tent. We've had no such issues or returns, perhaps it could be a condensation issue?
@alexmorgan34354 жыл бұрын
@@trekitt No. The tent leaks. I found there are other owners whose MSR Tour tents have also leaked and MSR have been unable to fix the leaking or supply replacements that don't leak. Shame as their other tents seem ok, just not this one.

@@trekitt I have had the same experience and so have many others - they look great, the design seems good but badly executed

seriiusly looking at this one but worried that its not totally freestanding... how would you deal with hard/soft ground conditions?
@trekitt6 жыл бұрын
In strong wind you will need to find slightly softer ground, however if it's fairly still outside a heavy object can hold the guy line down at the back of the tent, allowing it to stand up reasonably well without pegging down. Alternatively, have a look at MSR's Hubba Hubba tent; this is completely freestanding but isn't quite as dedicated to cycle touring. Regards, Harry.

Is the stuff sack waterproof?
@trekitt6 жыл бұрын
The stuffsack isn't waterproof and doesn't seal like a drybag, therefore water would creep in through the opening,.
