Din Din is a chain (albeit an excellent one.) Usually Laksa has egg, chicken, and shrimp in it. Try it at a makam if you get the chance. The big visible difference between Penang and Sarawak is coconut milk. Football around the world is always fun. 3rd division games in Chile and Spain. Top tier in England, Spain, Colombia (saw El Pibe play w/ Barranquilla!) and Bolivia. Always fun. Since I said "football" lets add rugby: club and national games in So. Africa and Australia (Wallabies and NRL...and AFL too). The crowds are always so wonderful.

Din Din was delicious! If the main difference is coconut milk, than I stand by Sarawak because I love that stuff. As a westerner, it also helps alleviate the spicyness! I hadn't gone to a football game in a foreign country in a very long time. Even though it was low quality, I had a blast. Can't believe you saw El Pibe play! What an opportunity. I saw Riquelme play for the national team more than a decade ago. I tried going in Spain to see Real Madrid, but couldn't afford it. Not a fan of American football, rugby, cricket or AFL... Brazilian soccer is my jam. Go Palmeiras!

Have you tried the original Sarawak Laksa? The version I see is different, the ingredients are different.
