I grew up in Gary and still own a home there. I went to school and church 4 blocks away from his house. Before MJ died, no one bothered their home. No fence. You could just walk up to it. It was a place of respect for us. When he died, tourists killed all of that. People wrote on their house, took pieces off of it, tried to break in.... They had to put a fence around it because people are so disrespectful.

That's why I think making Neverland or Hayvenhurst a museum would not work, because MJ's stans are crazy. They would destroy it. Otherwise they would have to have crazy security. What’s ironic was how at a young age, Michael was singing about love and heartbreak…..”ABC” “I Want You Back” “I’ll Be There” etc….those are all love songs and heartbreak songs. Now, I could understand it if Motown made them sing those songs and it would make more sense….because how was a 6-7 maybe 8 year old Michael, singing songs about two separate feelings that he would’ve only witnessed from watching tv? Because I doubt his older brothers had girlfriends before and even a bit after The Jackson 5 became a thing. It’s kind of hard to write and sing songs about certain types of feelings that you’ve never actually experienced before.

And then in 1971 he was in California on a vacation, He walking down the street and then The jacksons drives by in their limbo and they scream ”Hey again! I remember you, You should come by a concert sometime” And Grandpa said ”Maybe i will!”. After that he went home and was super happy that The Jacksons had screamed ”Hi!”. I remember seeing a video of Jason Weaver back When the Jackson’s sn American dream came out, during an interview that Michael came to the house for a minute and then left really quickly and that was in the early 90s… Maybe he just forgot LOL idk Love the video I actually went there a few years ago and recorded myself there and took pictures and took a moment because it’s like a 6 Hour Dr. from my house in Ohio..But the locals like told us that Janet took that big plaque .. when I went there, there was just a block of cement on the ground like the width of what it would’ve been and I posted it on my Instagram highlights LOL I follow you guys on there too and I’ve conversed a couple times on DM..love it..Keep it up!
