Guy Peirce the most underrated actor of all time,,, he's so good to watch ❤

He's had accolades in the past, but I agree he deserves much more. He's having a good year, and almost certainly will be nominated for an Academy Award in the US for Best Supporting Actor in 2025. The nomination seems like a lock to me. If not, I'll be shocked...and disappointed. His performance in The Brutalist was next-level good, but I think his work in Inside will probably hold its own to anything he's done previously.

Being underrated is a gift. I remember being a big fan of Tom Hardy and Christian Bale when they were underrated. When they turned mainstream I immediately got sick of them and all their generic blockbuster crap.

For the past several years if Guy Pearce is in a project, I'm watchin'. More recently added Cosmo Jarvis to the must-watch list. This cast is stacked. I've read such good buzz about the film from the festival audiences in Melbourne and Brisbane who screened it. My problem is that I don't live in Australia! Hopefully somewhere down the road it'll go international or stream. I hope all of Australia gives it a good reception. Enjoy the show!

Aussie here: It would help if they actually advertised it and let Aussies know it exists.....Australia is so guilty of criminally under promoting it's own product. I have come across so many Aussie movies I never knew even existed...because they just do not promote them. Our movie industry is good and highly capable but holistically flawed.

Guy Pearce is such an underrated brilliant actor, but Cosmo Jarvis too is an actor to pay attention to in the last couple of years giving some fantastic performances, and now he's going to be in Alex Garland & Ray Mendoza's Iraq film Warfare, as well as a new Barry Levinson film Alto Knights opposite De Niro. That says something about his skill. I do hope Pearce wins an Oscar for The Brutalist, it'd be an overdue and long-deserved recognition

Yes! There is so much buzz here in the US for these other projects + Guy's almost certain lock on an Oscar nomination. I hope that wave of publicity generates international interest from Guy and Cosmo fans to see these two together in a film. This opportunity is not to be missed imo. Some of us have been tracking Inside for months and dropping reminders about the film on other social platforms, but since we're not in Australia that's all we can do right now. Also, from everything I've read and seen, Cosmo's role as Mark Shepard in Inside seems to be the most challenging and complex characterization of his 3 upcoming film roles. The film festival audiences who screened this film say his portrayal is brilliantly realistic with an impeccable Aussie accent, so I hope Cosmo fans will take note!

@@beau_soleil-h3m the marketing landscape nowadays, as far as I can tell, is just horrible, its so hard to reach anyone, most studios seem to aim for social media virality, just flooding every site with press tours, because posters don't do much anymore, and trailers only reach so far, its really a shame becuz u just end up seeing the same old IP films who've got money to spare marketing the shit out of their product with billboards and ads, the way smaller indie movies can't, who can only really depend on great word-of-mouth or accumulating buzz from the festival circles. Maybe im wrong about that but even on social media its hard to reach ppl that aren't big movie fans and to convince them to check something like this out. Maybe this'll land on a decent streaming service and with Warfare and The Brutalist coming out and perhaps after Shogun wins some awards people will pay attention

Looks brilliant. Sadly, it also looks far too intense for me to be able to face it.

What do you mean? He’s Australian.

Jarvis is the only fake accent here. Pearce is Australian. Pearce is a master of accents though.

In the end times there will be a great falling away from the truth, lawlessness will abound. If you confess Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart God raised Him from the dead you will be saved (fromhell) Romans 10:9 Jesus died for you believe & repent.
