Dwarf pike cichlids are so cool. Honestly all of these fish are amazing, but the dwarf pikes really stick out to me.

I say it every chance i get. Bloodfin tetras are the cheapest and most underated fish in my local stores. Plus, they do fantastically in unheated aquariums. I prefer the regular species over the glass variety. Get a large group. You can't go wrong with them.

Peaceful pretty cichlids! Want electric blue acaras again. After 20 panda corys died on me, I was afraid to get more for a few years. I got 8 Sterbai grow outs,which are flourishing. Recently added 6 orange Venezuelans which came in tiny. No casualties, so eventually some C. robinae and whatever I can afford. Just a beautiful tank, Chelsea

She’s an Ivanacara Adoketa or Zebra Acara. I’ve raised quite a few, they’re beautiful fish with amazing personalities. They’re generally best suited for a species only tank because most are either too aggressive towards other fish or too shy, oddly enough. Really depends on the fish in the end. They’re not the cheapest either, but totally worth it. I kept a male for a very long time until I added Coco here and they lived together for most her life until he passed. His name was Ted and he was amazing too. Wonderful fish.

Do you have Carolina Coryies? When I bought my Cories from Dan's there was only 1 Carolina left so I bought it with other 1s and he never got anymore and they can't find then anywhere.

I have never heard of them, do you have the scientific name by chance?

@@SteenfottAquatics it's kind of confusing. Dan has them in the wanted list at the very end of the cories. The 1 I have is very social, doesn't hide and is nice and big and robust. I don't know why it's not more popular. It wasn't very expensive so I thought it would be easy to breed. My other cories are breeding like crazy but I only have the 1 .

@@jeremycover No problem, love to see people taking interest in dwarf pikes. They can be tough to find, I see them a few times a year. Also keep an eye out for Crenicichla regani, very peaceful and similar looking to C. notophthalmus.
