I actually like how fear and anxiety are two different people. Fear is based on reality, and real danger. Anxiety is absolutely more of an imaginary threat. I can’t even believe that the first part came out in 2015. All the characters are so colorful and vibrant and the voices fit perfectly. I'll definitely watch part 2.💖

I said it once and I'll say it again, anxiety is just a different version of fear.

I say that they are each aspects of fear. Fear is more shock, and anxiety is...well...anxiety

I remember hearing a quote somewhere that was “anxiety and fear are alike but not the same. fear sees a threat, anxiety imagines one” idk if I got that right or not but something like that

Everything can be traced back to either fear or love in some way shape or form. Anxiety is not however a different version of fear in the basic sense. Fear, actual fear, is instand, strong, a response to something. You have a phobia for sharks, you go on holiday to the coast where there are sharks, you see a shark, instand fear response. Anxiety works different. You have a phobia of sharks, you spend every day worrying about the location your going to because sharks will be there. You will think about all the things that can go wrong, how the sharks could get you, what it feels like if they do. the things you could do to fight them and survive, all the while being stressed out of your mind and unable to stop thinking about the hypothetical encounter with a shark. Fear is more pure. Anxiety drags and is more likely to consume your thoughts and make you stressed. fear doesnt have to make you stressed. You can be afraid of something, and be 100% fine untill you come across the thing you fear. In short id say that pure fear is more of a physical response. Anxiety is more in your head. Of course you need your head to be afraid also, but its not concious mulling and thinking about the things your scared off. Fear and anxiety are related, and you cant have anxiety without fear. But you can have fear without anxiety. So no, anxiety is not a different version of fear as much as it's a manifestation of how fear can take over your life/thoughts.
