Hilarious! And a great message. I'm going to show this to my 7th and 8th grade students when we talk about the Sacrament of Reconciliation later this year. Thanks for making this!

Hello and thank you for the video! I have a question about confession: When confessing your sins, do you have to go into specific sins or can you just say what commandment or general action you did wrong? I always get super nervous when confessing and avoid specifics🤐

Hey Lindsey, Thanks for the awesome question! The best response here is this: willfully remaining vague or concealing your sins out of fear, shame, or pride invalidates the sacrament. When it comes to grave matters, we have to be specific with the type of sin and frequency (how many times we've committed it), remaining humble enough to identify our failings and invite Jesus to totally heal us from those sins. The most important thing to remember about Confession is that it's Jesus we're approaching in the sacrament and He wants to forgive us more than we can even want His forgiveness -- the more honest, specific, and vulnerable we are with Him, the more permission we give Him to work in our lives and give us the grace to move further away from sin and closer to His heart. Don't hesitate to be incredibly honest with Him -- there's nothing He or the priest haven't heard and nothing you say can diminish Christ's love for you. He's longing to welcome you back into full communion with His Sacred Heart, no matter how you've fallen in the past -- it's up to you to let Him do so. Praying for you!

Life Teen Inc- Ok thank you so much! I will definitely remember this next time I go to confession

@@LifeTeenInternational For anyone else who is not sure, just name the sin and how many times. For example: I cheated on my math test twice I lied to my dad once. etc, etc In order to help you avoid a particular sin the priest will ask you for information if he thinks he needs it.

If sins actually wrote themselves down on notes life would be so much easier

Lol and great message. Now I need to go to confession pronto instead of using the excuse of always forgetting to go.

So good. thanks life teen. but my wife likes it when I call her hot. just FYI

I think the thing is commenting on physical appearance tends to be prideful and superficial... idk how your wife thinks about it, sir, but it is a bit of a dangerous comment for high schoolers. God bless.

Ryan LeBlanc *especially when she already looked uncomfortable with the word “hot” the first time. It was insensitive ig.
