That's awesome! It's my belief that people put too much emphasis on education as just use that as a tool to hold you back. I think it's BS. Most of the jobs you can learn while ON the job, and just because someone has a degree/diploma doesn't mean they're going to be better than someone else at a job. In some cases, like a Doctor or Surgeon, yes... but most jobs are about people skills after learning basic hard skills. Good work!

Your hilarious sketch reminded me of one of my favourite jokes. It goes like this: Reaching the end of a job interview, the manager asks a young engineer fresh out of college, "And what starting salary are you looking for?" The engineer replies, "In the region of £125,000 a year, all depending on the benefits package, of course." The manager says, "I see. Well, what would you say to a package of 6 weeks paid holiday, full medical and dental benefits, a pension fund to 50% of your salary with an early retirement bonus available at age 50, plus a brand new company car leased to you every two years, say, a Mercedes sports convertible?" The engineer sits up straight and gasps, "Wow! Are you kidding?" The interviewer replies, "Of course, but you started it."

@Movie2Documentary7 жыл бұрын
Nereus Yes, you can fire people without motivation. Actually it would be better to fire without motivation, so they can't really 'sue' you. And if they did sue you then you can't work for your boss anymore because you ruined the relationship. So it's a win-win for the boss (off course he gonna pay all the legal documents and pay-outs, including raises and ancienity).
@Linrox7 жыл бұрын

Very funny ! I had a boss who fired me several times, only to let his secretary call me a few days later & politely ask why I would no longer show up. I asked to be put thru to my (former ?) boss, who barked at me that he didn’t mean it & I should come back. Each time I negotiated a raise, only to result in the HR people ringing me why I always got a raise out of sync with rest of the gang. On and on it went, until I (!) resigned for a better job - and he gave me glowing references ever after, which finally moved me into two MD / CEO positions. Have to say I loved the game, but isn’t it a strange world ? Now I am retired early, live on a farm with my lovely wife, and life couldn’t be better. I don’t miss the rat race for a single day !
